I just contacted my friend in HK earlier on, its around HKD7k with Play Store

*Note it's only 16GB
*
I just bought a Note 3 HK version (港行) introduced by a friend of friend) paid RMB 3650, its 16gb and the box is in wood colour type (bio degradable). Its called N900, I dont know which variant is it. Apart from Earphone, usb cable and charger and a instruction booklet (which is in German and foreign language, no english nor Chinese). No warranty card and no IMEI number on the box. Please can anyone tell me whether this is genuine and which variant it is? Feel like Im being conned =(

First and formost, confirm if your devices is a N9002.

The rest of the accessory is not important. Probably they only got the phone but sourced the box and those documentations from another place

How can I confirm it mate? In about device:

Model Number: SM-N900
Android Version:4.3
Baseband verion: N900ZSUCMJ3

They have N900, N9002, N9005, N9006, N9008. Which one is Malaysian Model?
My China friend said Hong Kong version is the best, so I thought I would get it cheap here and the best also.
How to further confirm mine is not snapdragon and to get more info about this phone?
How much you guys paid and is it 32gb in Malaysia the lowest built in memory? cry.gif

The link above shows Memory is 32gb/64gb, but mine only 16gb?

I downloaded Antutu and ran the test,

CPU Model: Samsung Exynos 5420
Memory: 12027.9mb
Ram: 2720mb
Internal SD: 12007.9mb (But there is no SD card how come)
Frequency 250-1900mhz (is good or bad)?
Vender: ARM
Rear Camera: 12.8 mp
Front Cam: 2.1 mp
Video: 1080p
Temperatur sensor: not supported, the rest supported.

Can anyone kind enough to do me a screenshot?

They didnt give me a receipt. I was told that HK version can be sent for repair at any shop in HK.
Is it true?

HK user mah say HK the best lor . US ppl also said their version the best . So we as Malaysian , shouldnt we say out version the best also ? Nobody can screenshot for u since i doubt anyone here is using N900 . Buy locally lor , Note 3 oledi dropped price . U paid how much ? RM1.6k ? Add a few hundred for local warranty + correct version not worth it ?

I didnt know the Note 3 price in Malaysia. I was ready to buy Xiao Mi 3, but now only got TD-SCDMA, that is the 2g network version/ might not be supported in Malaysia I heard. And bcoz if you cant get Xiao Mi on official website which you need to depend on your luck to get it, we will need to pay premium price to buy in the store. So my supplier friends suggested me to get Note 3 instead and dont pay premium + real quality stuff. I listened to them and bought this Note 3 at the same store they bought their Note 3.

The mobile phone shop boss is their friend. The boss told me that since the rice of "water stock (ori but cheaper coz dont pay tax)" not much difference with "HK version (aka the best version and is Ori with warranty)", so suggested me to take it and I did. Now I paid RM1975 for Exynos double quad core (eight core) and 16GB, compared to better Snapdragon 800 with 32GB which I can get in Malaysia around the same price (I only know it after I bought the Note 3). N0ow urgently want to find out whether Note 3 with Exynos processor on Note 3 is imitation and which variant is the best I want to request the shop owner to change it for me. doh.gif

Malaysia model only is N9005, this is common international model which run Snapdragon 800.

Your model is N900 means it is Exynos 5420 edition, certain badge people think Exynos 5420 is better as it is Samsung own chipset. I don't feel that this time due to limitation of Exynos edition.

Pros of Snapdragon 800 over Exynos 5420:

  • Support recording and playback of 4k Video.
  • Support LTE data speed.
  • In general, it is slightly faster than Exynos 5420.
  • More developer support at XDA because Snapdragon 800 is main targeted chipset selling worldwide.

Yea I just came across the pros and cons in other website.
I guess mine is genuine, but the thing is whether or not I should exchange it with N9005 water stock as their price is around the same (Ori with warranty is expensive here)

Why buy without any knowledge about it?  sweat.gif

Initially I wanted a Xiao Mi 3, but it is a TD version I worried cannot support 3g.
So after my friend who said Note 3 has better value of money, and dont pay premium to buy Xiao Mi in store, so I went ahead. Fortunately now I can get it refunded icon_rolleyes.gif Due to the reason that even HK version sold in China would get warranty world wide
