U cannot declare as gift . If it goes missing , insurance wouldnt cover . Even USPS , to get insurance for your items , seller will declare the actual price just in case things go bad . At least u as a buyer is secured .Forgot to add , for US , any parcel sent thru USPS is insurance as long as u declare it . Unlike here , there's no extra charge
