i will buy ps4 for sure but maybe not first batch, and sure will not buy from lyn garage sales no matter how reputable seller is.

only buy from sony shop cuz i sked all this hassle

few day back i shoppe at jusco bkt tinggi and saw 2 unit ps4 in sony shop price 1799 and those complain no stock thats funny

maybe curve and midvalley no stock , others sony shop probably still have stock afterall all are my set with 1 to 1 exchange according to the sony sales person.

There's a thread about the console status that sent for repair/replace.

No doubt PS4 is a great console. Wherever you wanna purchase it, just double check on the warranty they provide and ASK properly how they they will handle issue such as BLOD.

Yes there is a possibility. However the higher chances are due to the manufacture itself, if you really read at the US community support, and also famous gaming websites like IGN & Game Informer, and etc.

Hhhmm… I'm not trying to defend or market someone or how, but the reason why I buy it from Qisahn is:
1) Price : It is lower than the one at local (malaysia). And seeing that I'm buying additional DS4 and few games and camera, it cost way lesser than buying it at Malaysia.
2) Courier Cost : Cost is just too low that it's not a problem.
3) Warranty : One of the main reason I buy it from Singapore is because PS4 is a SEA regional warranty. Which means it's not an issue.

But of coz, the only thing that I've been worry about is just BLOD - Which it did happened on me

well bro, same with me. I've been worry about BLOD too. When the PS4 booted up, i am like no BLOD!!

Then happilly i put in disc.. then after wait for few minits.. change position

Then try restart and put on another disc... Same .. and then i google , Youtube and try everything.. Found out that It cannot read disc at all.. speechles..

BLOD is like the ultimate super power from dragon ball son goku. When you got it it means you won't even have the chance to see PS logo at ur tv, but only the blue light blinking steadily on the console as if poking and teasing you like "na na na na na f***a you can't touch me"

U know, PS3 YLOD is like Goku teleport in front of u and give a facepalm without warning lol, it happen randomly, so i just wonder if BLOD has the same effect

not surprise if PS4 will have other problems since its temperature is higher than XBone.

Agreed. Especially when it comes to electronic items, the most ideal method is face to face. Imagine if you are anxiously waiting for your console only to find out that you received a DOA unit

PS4 heats up pretty fast. But as long as it is ventilated, it should be fine. But it is way louder than my PS3, probably more fans
