hi, i dont want to create a new thread regarding the Windows Vista.

i downloaded the Vista transformation pack, which is really cool... since because the explorer, windows look very glassy and i cant see clearly as the window behinds it blocks the letters or anything of it, can i know where do i do the settings for this glassy setting?

UX Theme patcher is the patch to enable windows use visual styles.

Juz wanna to ask, if i change the themes of my windowz, is it possible it will make my processor work slow, bcoz i tried last time and my computer used to be hang a lot !!!!

Visual styles or theme use a little of the memory resources. But, so far..i dont have any problem regarding computer hang or etc..even with a heavy styles loaded.

guyz, did u all notice that in vista, the start button is round and everything is glassy? anybody knows where i could find that theme? i've used vista, and it's really beautiful.. had to reformat cos of driver support and "activation"..

theme works fine for me, but found out this is still not the best yet, try Royale Vista and you'll love it !!

or there's the new vista transformation pack 4

if you activate it, you get to use it till next year and you'll get RC1 key when it's released.

the best vista theme is usually for WB5.

it didn't work because you didn't install stylexp or patch uxtheme to enable 3rd party theme.

i downloaded the vista perfectionx3 adi ... but i dunno how to apply it. i did have stylexp installed. i can apply other theme but not this one de.
this one seem a bit different. i extract everything seem to be seperated ... all is in .png format

can't you read? it's for WB5, uh, ok, maybe you dunno what is WB5 is, i read it for you, it's Windowsblind 5, what is it? there's a thread for you to read, of just google it

if you're going to use WB, uninstall stylexp

vistacg is the best theme i ever found in net for direct theme using with uxtheme patch..........

Hi, I made a theme pack recently for VistaCG. It includes the theme itself, Vista sound schemes, Vista Screensavers, Aero Cursors, and also the Segoe fonts. I'm not sure if there are any restrictions in distributing the fonts, if there is someone plese inform me and I'll remove it.

Basically, the steps for implementing the pack correctly is as below
1) Download the rar file and extract it
2) Navigate into the extracted VistaCG folder and search for VistaCG.inf
3) Right click VistaCG.inf and select the install option
4) After files are installed, go into Display Properties and under Themes, select VistaCG.

Official link for VistaCG is at http://spaceqcg.deviantart.com/ . The aero cursors are included in the theme. The sound schemes I got from msfn.org, The screensavers and fonts I forgot the source already. The theme pack is 6.3mb mostly because of the size of the sound schemes.

If you can install the pack but could not load the theme, 1st check if you have disabled the theme service and 2nd check if you have patch uxtheme.dll
