Has anyone ever use an air purifier? Does it really works? How's the value for money? I have sinus problems and i was hoping it might help. In today's TheStar, there's a few articles promoting it notably the Honeywell and the Medklinn brand. I'm kinda leaning towards Medklinn (http://www.medklinn.com.my/index.html) since there's no filters to replace or clean and you just turn it on for 24/7 operation.

i use a sharp fu-60se and have found that it does effectively clean air and trap dust pretty well, havent tried other brands before, but i have 3 fu-60se's throughout my house, works pretty well even in large rooms. you do have to do some simple cleaning of the filters every few months though, no problems running it 24/7 for several months on stretch.
How much is it? I guess the filters is permanent and not replaceable?

yes, it's very quiet...no noise why i like a lot..well being wise, it helps to clear my nose a little when it's very hazy...also it helps that i'm taking high quality food supplements...

so if you have sinus problem, take supplements and get an air-filter...combat the problem from within and outside.
You haven't answered on how much you pay for it sweat.gif

Hmm which would be better? A purifier or an ioniser?

But the sharp fu-60se only filter the air and doesn't have the ionizer function sweat.gif
I think most air purifier which filter the air by suction doesn't have such function as well.
