According to AAQ, Sharp FU-25 is discontinue model soon?
So will it hard to buy the filter after 2-3 year later?

Currently i have Super 8 at room and car, and i dun think it really work after use it for few year.

At this moment, AAF and Sharp is in my mind. < Rm700 for small room.

Cannot find York model at AAQ since their major business in on Air cleaner system.
Where you buy it?

But look on the DESIGN is almost same like AAF200? York no remote control?

i think the new replacement model for Sharp FU25 is the FU28...i bought it recently..cost below RM700...
i think sharp filters should be easily purchase from electrical shops or air filter specialist...cause
it is very popular...

is AAF a malaysian company ? who r the dealers in malaysia ?

Where u buy Fu-28 < rm700? wat is diff between FU25 and FU28? sensor?

AAQ quote me RM806 for FU28, corporate discount 106. Net = rm700.

All type of filter can get from AAQ as well since they are main business on all type of brand as well.

where is AAQ ?

I bought a FU28 <RM700 and another unit KC-840E with humifdying function for around RM1200
at Legend SS2 PJ...(look for the boss Mr. Alan)

but after reading on IQswiss, and AUSTIN brand... looks like the really good brands(specialist)
for Air purifier/cleaners are IQ SWISS (got distributor...in cheras, but expensive...cost more than
RM4K.... ,) and AUSTIN brand (distributor in Seri Petaling, cheaper model around RM2200, and another
model RM4K + ) ....and now Alen brand... others are MNC with multiple products....
not sure whether effective or not... biggrin.gif

and now planning to get a unit for my living room...maybe I want to try those specialist Brands
such as Austin or Alen...and my budget around RM2K to RM3K...

Hi HW-Racer,

AAF (American Air Filter) is not a Malaysian company but it is a MNC company which headquarter in US.
AAF are specialize in air filter manufacturing, start from commercial to clean room filter and even Heavy industry filter such as power plant, turbine etc.

PurAir range product are designed for household and office use for AAF Asia market.

Dealer in Malaysia include AAQ, Jusco etc.

i already bought 2 units of Sharp KC840(RM1200) & FU28 (<RM700)...for the bedrooms....now looking for something for the living room hmm.gif
can I use this AAF PurAir 400 in the living room ? ...i think RM888 is quite reasonable price..

BTW, Legend SS2 at PJ...just located next to the famous Murni restaurant...same row as Public Bank ..... & Secret Recipe (old branch)

Hello All, something to share.  Alen Air Purifiers are #1 overall in performance, price and quality!

I have to be honest, I got sucked in by the marketing on the SHARP Plasma-cluster along with some reviews but all were based on price. I went down the track of the IQ AIR based on what I feel was an over rotation to get something that could not be disputed but price was beyond acceptable.

Going back to the SHARP models, there was NO WAY of guaranteeing if the product actually worked unless you had high end testing equipment and do a before after test.

I was absolutely stuck!

The proof therefore was very simple! When I ran the Alen Paralda there was a noticeable and REAL difference in our health, especially my wife's, who is suffering after a 6 year stay in HK. Dry throat, running nose, cough, all gone in only 3 days.

Further, I am now running Paralda in all of my bedrooms and run a model A375 Multi Gas in my living room which is absolutely excellent.

Again, while stating the obvious that you cannot put a price on you and your families health, may I submit that Alen has designed Air Purifiers which DELIVER what is advertised at a price most affordable!

One small note, the Alen Paralda is the only Energy Star Qualified unit I have seen on the market today. The difference in the premium (which again is not anywhere near what you would think), will pay for itself and one big issue that everyone does not account for is noise. The Paralda is so quiet, you wont even know its on.

I hope this helps everyone with their decision as it took over 2 years and making the wrong decisions to bring me to these conclusions.

FYI, I contact AlenCorpAsia, and understand the SE Asian office will be based in Kuala Lumpur and product line available in the next 6-8 weeks.

If you can hold on and make the correct purchase the first time, unlike me, it will be very much worth it.

Onemorethiing....do u have the contact numbers for Alen Air purifier office in KL ?
