do u guys get ping spikes too?
mine ping like crazy, first 40 then 100 then 335 then 999
wadafaq can't play any server at all
just asking coz played BF3 b4 nvr get this ping that high
me use streamyx 5mbps kut, also not enuff ka?

ping in BF3 around 40-80
ping in BF4 from 50-380
checked the task manager, din see any process using network except origin and the BF4
i even use low setting for Bf4 in case if my graphic setting make it laggy..improved a bit but still lag..

in my case, all servers like that
at first good ping around 50-60, afterwards spiked to 160-180, then 300, then back to 60, cycle repeated

cable lowered the ping by 30% i'll say..smoother than before but still lagging of course..also, i experienced no sound during playing in certain server..what did DICE fixed anyway in recent update?

guys, any of u still experiencing stutters/fps drop?
i hav that problem before the last 2 update..but after upgrading RAM to 8GB along with recent update, game runs smooth..no more stutters and crash..
but after today's origin update, it happen again..stutters and then crash..wadafaq..wanna rage liao..
friend told me it may be not the game's or origin's fault..maybe my cpu fan too dusty..idk bout that tho..
btw, i use the most recent version of Nvidia driver..

sigh...here we go again..this is why i hate their updates..

but lately playing BF4 feels a bit more fun coz so many funny people
trolling campers together, teabagging snipers together, funny jokes, do insane yet fail stunts, etc..
met a lot of this kind of gamers in BF4

anyone else experiencing latency problem with SG servers? weird thing is HK servers have decent latency but not the SG servers..wonder why is that..

so i did a trace route to one of my favorite server, the Backdoor Arbiters that has IP 216.185.114.94:


latency spikes up upon reaching 36351.sgw.equinix.com. I don't really know what is that but I do know it's on SG side. All SG servers have connection issue with me currently.

any of you still playing BF4 or even BF1?

i tried coming back to these two game, but not one server stable.. all SG, HK, JP, CHN, Korea server show stable latency around 20ms-120ms.. but when I join any of them, lag stuttering.. rubber banding.. packet drop/loss.. and I have no idea what's the cause..

already tried port forwarding on my router...replace LAN cable.. one thing on my side that I haven't change is the router itself (just stock TM TP-Link AC1200 router)..

when I traceroute to those private BF4 servers (UOTrace), latency is still good.. but packet loss a lot between ISP to game servers..

u use unifi or other ISP?

i know there's still lots of players in BF4, but i can't play without raging at the network issues.. it's not server side issues, judging by the error network icons they displayed on right side of our HUD.. so i was guessing it might be TM side.. but then u say u have no problem using unifi..

guess it's my router problem then.. sigh...
