Two more matches before we establish ourselves as title contenders.

I think arsenal are gonna lose to chelsea.

I would give alberto a chance and rest suarez.

4 or 6 points out of the next two games will mean that lfc should aim for title.

January reinforcements can help the squad with gerrard and sturridge still to come in.
I feel rodgers is assembling a juggernaut.

Targets for january transfer window:
Fernando
pastore
rakitic
salah

Even one would improve the team massively.

A striker is a must after an attacking midfielder.
All top teams over the years have at least three top strikers.

Currently suarez is the only recognised striker in the team.

Defeat to city showed that overall quality is still lacking in lfc despite every player performing in that game.

Sturridge is not recognized ? He's still ranked 3rd in the chart even after missing few months worth of games. I think we need a CM and a versatile forward, and then maybe a fullback before getting another striker.
*

Sturridge has a bad injury record. It wouldn't make sense to rely on him alone.Even someone as reliable as aguero got injured at city. But they have enough cover for him.

Lesson should have been learnt from 08-09 where rafa relied on torres alone and had no proper back up.Whether you like it or not injuries will happen and if lfc dont finish top 4 you cant blame injuries for that.

I am thinking about someone like benteke.
Premier league proven,19 pl goals last season.
Not a primadonna star yet will be excellent third choice.

of course replicating city's depth is impossible.
However,if you are gonna rely on suarez full time then it's only gonna burn him out like owen and torres. With fa cup games next month aren't you asking too much of suarez to play every minute and create every single chance?

I would be happy with two players in january. One attacking cm and one striker.

To win at SB would be to end mourinho's 69 game unbeaten record in the league there.

I think mourinho will be playing for a draw and I will be more than happy to take it if it means liverpool remain in top 4.

I really hope alberto is given a chance now that xavi is out injured.

Rushing back gerrard is also pointless.that aside, this transfer window could make or break rodgers career here.I think even rodgers realizes this.

Title is too much for lfc.Had there been better results against city chelsea then it would have been fair to talk about title.

Good win and performance overall.

Rodgers must target players of better calibre. For that price salah will just be another aspas.

Go for 20million pound players. That's the real deal.

Pastore is unhappy at PSG.I know dalglish wasted money but its unfair to punish rodgers for that.
He should be allowed to spend big on one player.

two world class players are better than 5 average joes.

We have players like Gerard, Sturridge, Allen etc recover from injuries soon.
Yes, we need quality instead of quantity.

I dont see how allen is going to improve the team.
He did jack all against city and chelsea.
The team has been needing a proper midfielder even before the injuries.

Knowing BR's love for 2 DMs in the center, he will restore the 3-5-2 formation
*
I think he plays 352 out of no choice.
It doesn't matter though what formation we play because only sas produce the goods and the rest have no end product.Hence any formation with those two up top will probably work.
