but can englighten me on the hairline scratched thing

are hairline scratches usually more than 9h?

lol what u pay is what u get smile.gif
*
Although Tempered Glass is 9H, u can still get hairline scratches from dust particles or sand particles. They are hairline scratches because these particles are small.
In the tempered glass reviews, Knifes or Scissors will nvr be able to scratch the glass sp as they are less than 9H hardness

Why not Apple just use sapphire/diamond based glass for next gen tongue.gif, price is going to skyrocket too xD but at least no need spend on the SP by then.
*
Ya, Apple use sapphire glass, and the price will increase another rm300 sweat.gif

Whoah, I was wondering that too! My previous iPhone 4 used for 3 years also never see any scratches on the home button (some plastic material can't be tougher than sapphire glass right?)
*
Lol my previous iphone 4 home button scratches alot (that time no home button protection)
Now no scratches as im using the aluminium home buttons to protect

There is no OEM. Only Original and Fake. You choose one.  nod.gif

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacture means that the product/equipment is made by / for manufacturer. If they can prove that the item is made for/by Apple itself then you can say its OEM. whistling.gif
*
Alot of ppl misuse the word OEM d. If talking about computer parts, then OEM is quite common, if iphone cases say OEM, most probably is fake/immitation d

thinking to buy between the two actually right now...yeah, saw it in youtube review the do not supply the 3 pin plug..minor detail to me there...
*
It is quite common that powerbanks do not include the 3 pin plug. Powerbanks normally only come with the powerbank itself and the cable to charge the powerbank. Even Yoobao or Momax powerbanks are the same

Looks like the case cannot cover the armorz glass sp. I believe is because the case really very thin. I think imos sp should be compatible with it smile.gif
*
Thats becos the case doesnt have any lip or lay-on-table features. Even with plastic sp, the screen will still be touching the table if placed face down.

Anyone with Glass SPs tried adding another layer of cheap SP to "protect the glass SP"? I find that sometimes it's hard to swipe around so I was thinking of adding another layer of Anti-Glare SP on it. And I also need to replace my back SP. Just wondering.

who's ready for some sapphire awesomeness? Will post video up tmr. The boss of mos coat personally help me install. I will film the installation process, and hopefully do a scratch test on it. thumbup.gif

Here some sneak peek info on sapphire glass sp

Mohs hardness of 7-8H (double the hardness of tempered glass which is only pencil hardness of 9H)

Scratch proof, yes SCRATCH PROOF. Only diamond can scratch sapphire!

Made by imos. If u are familiar with their 3SAS then u will love the sapphire even more.

Pricing? Heres the ouch factor. Roughly RM320 after converting per piece. I know you must be thinking " rich fag buy so exp! Crazy d" here in taiwan, people are willing to spend top dollars to protect their phone. Which is why the bos of imos sort out to use sapphire sp. For me, no matter what brand they claim scratch resistant, if u put in pocket and is full of dust and got sand particles, ur sp would be gone. This wont happen on sapphire sp.

Tmr is the big day. Hope all the info will help. Anyone interested in the sapphire sp can wait for bro connect2u sales. As he stated in previous post he will bring in thumbup.gif

Erm isnt 9H harder than 7-8H?

9H is pencil hardness. Tempered glass hardness is only 3-4H mohs hardness. Sapphire is 7-8H

Saw this quite some time ago. Not really recommended to do the modification as it might cause problems to ur cellphone reception and wifi. Also sometimes the parts do not fit properly (screw hole too small, screws too big etc)

2.5d? whats that? I know a brand for glass sp 2.5D la.. hehe..

2.5d is just a technical term of saying that the glass has tapered edges and the sides and home button areas

I was told all models from Glass-M have rounded edges. Only the first version whch is 0.5mm i presume doesnt.
*
U should be able to see/feel whether the glass has tapered edges or not. If the sides/home button area of the glass feel sharp, means it is not tapered. If the side/home button area of the glass feels smooth, it has tapered edges
