I've used both Spigen Glas tr and Glass-M
The main difference from what I see is that spigen coating seemed to wear off slightly faster compare to Glass-m
After about 1 month plus of usage, the coating seemed to wear off on the spigen. I have sweaty palms, and is constantly on the phone, so quiet easy to tell when the coating starts to fade. The glass-m can last just a little tiny bit longer.
Now i'll have to wipe the screen using semi-wet tissue to clean of oil and fingerprints. Both offer the same clarity
Now i stick to Glass-m, as their price point is lower compare to Spigen, while offering basically the same function, plus they offer much better installation & cleaning package compare to Spigen. (they have alcohol swab & a cellophane tape like card for you to clean off dust from your phone, making installation a breeze).
That's why we almost recommend user to review after 1-2 months of use. It will be more accurate. To share on how u use it on daily basis. Some ppl I know never clean their screen. They just let the finger prints, oil stains there. Until a period where they can't stand it, then only they clean it. Some will clean it like 20-30 times even there is not much stains. It depends on individual habits. The main difference from what I see is that spigen coating seemed to wear off slightly faster compare to Glass-m

If u just bought a glass sp and do a quick review, u can only feedback on 3 things, the ease of installation, the smoothness of the sp after installation and the hardness (only of u want to try, use a hard object to knock on it, eg. Tip of scissors, plier, key, etc) you can really comment on the performance of it during the first few days. Unless u are someone who change the sp regularly, else, it's advisable u give feedback after 1 month of use.
Most sp does gives a great clarity, smoothness, oleophobic, not easy to scratch and we can say, if u put side by side, most will look the same and u can't even differentiate it except for the thickness.
N if u plan to use short term, then we would suggest the cheapest glass sp in the market which cost around RM30 only. N they claim to be explosion proof too... Where to find?
N btw, some of u might already heard that there will be a sapphire glass sp which MOHS hardness is 9H, slightly below diamond at 10H. It's almost x2 as strong as the current glass sp in the market which is only 9H pencil hardness. Again, I'm sure if based on short term, it will look the same, feel the same as the normal glass sp.. But why are they still making n selling it? N at a price almost rm300 per piece?
According to the boss, it's more for those who don't like to change the sp as it's almost scratch proof.. Only vulnerable to diamond. Not even sand can scratch it. Means u can bring ur phone to beach n no worries it will scratch it.
Conclusion... All glass sp are the same on day 1, it's how long u intend to use it before u change. Do decide on this before u buy. It's to save u money and hassle free.
If u like to change less than 1 month - go google for the cheapest in the market. Probably last longer than 1 month and if u don't mind on scratches, I'm sure u can use it for very long time too. N of u wanna use a cheap but want a branded one, get the brand that are heavily promoted by local resellers.
Those who want to use longer term- time to ask around those who have been using their sp on longer term basis. Which brand, how are they using it - price should be the least u concern as calculations is easy. If brand A is rm80 but last only 3 months, 6 month need 2 piece which is rm160. Brand B, RM150 but last 6 months. Which comes to be cheaper? And don't forget, if during installation u messed up, u will need to pay for another piece. Brand A means 2 times installation, which risk is higher than brand B.
Just a sharing.. No brand mentioned to ensure fairness. (Hmm.. This gives a good topic for our next article)
