What's New in this Version

- The 10.4.7 Update is recommended for all users and includes general operating system fixes, as well as specific fixes for the following applications and technologies.
It includes fixes for:
- preventing AFP deadlocks and dropped connections
- saving Adobe and Quark documents to AFP mounted volumes
- Bluetooth file transfers, pairing and connecting to a Bluetooth mouse, and syncing to mobile phones
- audio playback in QuickTime, iTunes, Final Cut Pro, and Soundtrack applications
- ensuring icons are spaced correctly when viewed on desktop
- determining the space required to burn folders
- iChat audio and video connectivity, creating chat rooms when using AIM
- importing files into Keynote 3
- PDF workflows when using iCal and iPhoto
- reliable use of Automator actions within workflows
- importing and removing fonts in Font Book
- syncing addresses, bookmarks, calendar events and files to .Mac
- compatibility with third party applications and devices
- previous standalone security updates

for those who use Intel based Mac

go to HERE to get the latest update.. or you can download just using software updates in your apple menu..

btw.. after upgraded to 10.4.7, it still look the same.. @@ flex.gif

After upgrade to 10.4.7, we can use the 2 fingers tap on trackpad for rightclick.

Just enable it in Mouse and Trackpad in PREFERENCES.

For those installed CoreDuoTemp, it is better to uninstall it before applying the 10.4.7 update.

I heard from Apple forum that some are having problem with CoreDuoTemp after upgrading to 10.4.7.

HMMMMM.

my OSX is loading up mighty slow while restarting the new update.

Hope its just first time restart though...

It's just the first time coz mine the same. Subsequent restart is very fast.

Everything seem much snappier. Especially i-apps. recommended.
Update on: PMG5 dual 2.0, Powerbook G4 & Powermac G4.

for myself, in my sweetest dream maybe bro, in my dream.
oh wait... wait maybe everyone upgraded to MacPro QuadCore 5GHz, i can afford a 2nd hand PMG5. hahaha.

anyway. for those that using custom skin & system icons. pls pls backup your theme before update. Now i have to restore my icons one by one with CandayBar. Should have create a iContainer. cry.gif
