speaking about ram it is that important? how about cpu? I heard mediatek is not good when it comes to gps is that true? Zenfone antutu score is 20K+ if i'm not mistaken.

there cannot be more than 1k units sold today, judging by the duration of sale...which makes the marketing really trying funny business (open for sale every Tuesday??) or they are really low on supply.

Either way they will likely to suffer when frustrated buyers turn to other brands, and or by the time the openly sell there is no one left to buy one.

I am one of the folks fed up with waiting for Zenfone, I imagine the feeling is the same for those wanting to get one. Cheap and good needs to come with fast...

Anyone having problems with the dialer and contacts app?

Dialer:
- My call logs don't update. I get missed calls and it only shows on the notification bar and not on the call logs. I dial a number, it doesn't show on the call logs. Smart contact search or whatever you call it doesn't work.

Contact:
- Basically doesn't work at all. Blank screen.

Happened to me twice already ever since I got my 3C last Friday (original Malaysian set with SIRIM sticker). Worked for 2 days then the problem came back again. Both times same problem. (Worked on Friday, didn't work on Saturday. I factory reset it. Then it worked. Sunday fine, today (Monday) didn't work again. Factory Reset again.)

Both times I had to factory reset it because I don't really know how to solve the problem. Downloaded Contacts+ from Play Store but couldn't get it to work because the native dialer and contacts don't work.

I think there is a problem with EMUI 2.0. Not sure though since a google search didn't return anything.

Pretty ironic if you ask me. A phone that has problems with contacts and dialer, the most basic features.

BTW, my contacts are synced from Gmail.
