haha... well MTK chipset in real life??? still lose to Snapdragon in some aspect...
Own P780 which use the older Quad core chipset, multitasking is not that great as it will kill the apps..
MTK firmware is only 4.2.2, i expect to see good improvement if they are in 4.4...
until now i hold my horse on purchasing any MTK chipset phones cos of this limitation...
because there is really difference on 4.2.2 vs 4.4.2, very noticeable...
now another chipset i would like to try is Intel... might going to try Zen5 with 2G RAM...

yes no need to complaint... those who wanna pay 2k or sign contract pay 1.3k for a flagship is their choice...
the MTK chipset is doing what it should, paired with 2G of RAM i expect better multitasking than my x-P780..
but again without real life experience i just can imagine it will do better...


anyone owns S5 here??? i do not see ppl lining up buying it...
as a lot of ppl said... Samsung is lying on the increase sales...
it should be decrease cos more countries launched at the same time (2x about 120 compare to 60 last time)...
whereas the sales only improve slightly... so BAD sales...
as i know until S4 ppl still complaint it lags after sometime of usage... n battery life sucks...

well i should say after i use P780 and play with S930...
the later is faster but again i do not know how it fairs against my usage in real life...
as i only help to setup for my fren and use it about 1 day plus without SIM card...
it is quite a fair comparison coz the difference only the CPU n GPU... both 1G RAM n 720 screen...

Not too old la... but not every wanna root and do custom rom...
If ur phone updated to 4.4 it will be perfect... much smoother...

Well all is porting... hopefully MTK will release by tomorrow cos some one said by April mah... screw them la... cos 4.3 source code also do not have...

wait lo... that's the reason i sold my P780 cos MTK reluctant to release the source code...
or until now they did not even compile a stable 4.4 yet???
i do suspect they have problem compiling ROMs as even 4.3 also did not release...
i duno what is the main reason behin but my gf Xperia SP already upgraded to 4.3, even my ZR also...
4.4 might not be reaching the Xperia SP but ZR will get it...

but i do really hope MTK settle this ASAP...
btw i do heard some ppl said they will release the source code for 4.4 by end of April which is tomorrow...
i pray for all MTK user for it... but i think rather it will be another disappointment...

Totally agree... MotoG is bloody hell smooth, it does not like a middle range phone with 1G ram only... I use both chipset together b4, P780 vs MotoG... is a no brainer if base of user experience MotoG is 10 then P780 is 7 only... but overall hardware with better camera and battery life P780 will be a tie... if base on user experience my best guess will be Honor 3C also lose to MotoG, but overall package it will overtake MotoG with 2G ram for multitasking and camera...
