alright, just a quick feedback on the phone. didn't get to use it much but, i found out that the AP sets have been loaded with a modified rom where there are some bugs here and there with playstore loaded in.

The recovery is using clockworkmod style but in chinese. I managed to obtain the latest rom from huawei's website but i can't seem to load it in as the file is UPDATE.APP whereas the recovery requires loading in update.zip format. So far camera app crashes quite often. Apart from that everything seems fine. Lenovo P780 screen protector seems to fit well with it though.

Guys, I did an an tutu. Guess what, front and rear cams are 5mp. Will the tweaking of a rom affect the hardware? I doubt so right. It's supposed to be a 8mp if I remember correctly.

btw some updates on the phone. I actually soft bricked my phone last night.was thinking of sending back to the seller, coz was tinkering around with the firmware and CWM. If you guys need sources, you can get them from this page but it's in russian, need to rely on some Google translate and you should be fine. Anyways i'm back on the stock china rom so the camera is back to full 8mp. Phone is fairly stable but battery is not as lasting as G700. Overall the user experience is quite smooth and screen is really much better than any lenovo that i have tried. Overall if you are looking for a budget phone in Samsung's product line, this is the phone that you should be looking at.

Rooting is only possible till B118 i think. If you guys bought your phone from the same seller in lelong, probably you will be having the B211 rom (Comes with Gapps, but has a buggy camera that keeps crashing and is limited to only 5mp for the rear cam) which is based on the B111 original rom which also can be found in the link above, apart from that there are mirrors of the first original rom till the current B123 (latest firmware - no Gapps but you can install Play store from the Huawei appstore and work from there, and double tap to wake phone is here now, the only missing part i have is contacts and calender entries can't be sync, so you will need to manually import the vcard into the phone for your contacts if you save all your contacts on gmail) so there's quite a lot of info in there. From rooting, to CWM to custom roms and original roms. Cheers~

For those who are wondering, Honor 3C only has 3G on sim slot one. Second slot is limited to 2G only.

running on MIUI V5 now on the 3C, lol!~~~ xD

the bluetooth is buggy, doesn't work well with 2 devices simultaneously. Lots of chinese characters here and there.

Rest of the apps are working as they should. Kinda feel the stock rom is smoother although there's a lot of eye candy as the UI feels more colorful and refined. No double tap to wake screen though.

Those who jump ship from g700, battery life is only 3/4 of its stamina. Be prepared. Otherwise a fairly stable and good phone

i own both the devices.. no need to get the info from elsewhere..lol.. sorry to say the honor 3c battery is really poor compared to G700

lets just say by the time i get home at 10pm..i have around 8 percent left... on the g700 i still have around 20-30 percent left...that's the difference ...average use

treat it as a samsung then you will understand what kind of battery life we are talking about... say, galaxy ace or s3 kind of battery life..it can last me through the day, but i will be worried adi when its getting around 8-9pm...coz battery is almost there...i'm on MIUI rom now...so around 5% time it will shut off my phone adi

G700 feels more heavy, 3C is much lighter. 3C take much better pics than G700 despite the same camera resolution.

Battery life G700 wins hands down. and G700 has lights on the softkeys. Speaker sound, i prefer 3C... sounds clearer. What else ya?
