Newcastle have a pretty decent midfield but are pretty soft in the centre. If we can attack and finish like we know we can we might score a few more than we can expect.

QUOTE(alvincks @ Dec 29 2013, 11:24 PM) Man Utd had more or less 10 - 15 bad games scoring last minute goals, winning 1-0, 2-1 etc in most of their title winning campaigns. Do they f*cking care? This post has been edited by sigheart: Dec 29 2013, 11:26 PM |

QUOTE(Quick` @ Dec 30 2013, 02:27 AM) - Winning ugly fcuk yeah! Oh for the love of God please don't bait that wannabe "KL gangster" to come back. when some of you guys fully understand and catch the full grasp on the meaning of the above^ then only proceed reading below otherwise dont bother reading the following: - Credits to Giroud, despite all the boos and recent average performance..the tide was against him but he was the one that stood up, showed some character and WON us 3 points for us, yes 3 points He needed that! - Walcott once again, a cool assist in this game....I remember couple of months back some DK90 or some Ace guy criticize about him...Oh dear, i just hope he realize why Walcott was one of our best players last season he is no Henry, but he does the job for us in his own ways. - Koscielny returned with a bang, top it off with BFG epic performance anyways what matters most for us today is that [/I]"Arsenal end 2013 on top" bring on the hash tag guys #COYG This post has been edited by sigheart: Dec 30 2013, 03:12 AM |

Cut Jenko some slack la he did nothing wrong by wasting time. Its easier said than done on hindsight. Plus I don't think he even saw Bendtner.
If Jenko had wasted no time, did a sh*tty throw in haste or Bendtner screws it up and Newcastle steal the ball and scored then you will be blaming Jenkinson for not wasting time instead. I felt Newcastle played a very good game. We weren't that poor actually, Newcastle made us look poor. Credit to Newcastle, it was as good a game we got so far this season from teams outside the top 5. Puzzling that Arsene chose to take Walcott off AND sit back. If you are gonna sit back at least leave a player with pace to hit on the counter attack when we get a fortunate break. This post has been edited by sigheart: Dec 30 2013, 01:56 PM |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Dec 30 2013, 03:53 PM) He's here to provide LOLs. And he didn't have slow gifs and TV with cameras from multiple angles to spot where the ball is at all times. It could've been an awkward bounce of the ball or something that took the ball of his eye a moment. Don't chase away our comedic relief. It was the lack of awareness by Jenko that kinda killed the buzz. Bendtner had an open goal with Tim Krull too high up the pitch to intervene. Jenko didn't even know where the ball was - he was looking everywhere and later realised it was right next to the advertisement board. A wasted opportunity to kill the game, but better than Sczczczczzczny tempting fate. Had that went in he'd been slaughtered. It could've happened to anybody. |

Should still be strong enough to win. Still have Tomas, Gnabry and Bendtner on the bench if needed. No excuses IMO.

Supply to the Podolski have been poor, but then again this could be due to Podolski being significantly weaker than Giroud in areas most needed as a lone striker.
I hope the know-it-alls and smart alecs over here that wanted Giroud out are happy with our first half performance. |
