QUOTE(idoblu @ Dec 17 2013, 02:55 AM) Waze can take you to holland as well. Lately I was facing some weird directions. i suspect this is face problem? Possible? Never have such issue except if your car got strong tinting would effect beside that. Sometimes gps does that because its routing to another route or u-turn is turn off. as i said do you think possible face problem?Eg. 1. Wanting to go kelana jaya LRT station. I'm on Jln Majlis, suppose to turn left on LDP, crazy Waze told me to turn right. Eg. 2. Wanting to go Puchong from KL. I took Mex, Waze told me to exit at Putra Jaya instead of Bukit Jalil. When I exited and waited at the Sri petaling traffic light to u-turn into Kesas, Waze still tells me to go straight and turn towards the city, into NPE. |

QUOTE(ysc @ Dec 17 2013, 12:05 AM) I always use it around the city area since I don't know my way around at all. you funny dude you said you not fanboy but clearly fanboy. So far Google & Apple maps have been accurate. As for traffic, Google maps includes traffic as well. In fact, I don't know why I bother joining this maps-fanboy thread... I'm sure most users who are supporting one side has not spent sufficient time testing out the other apps anyway. Totally one sided, no one makes proper comparisons or provide constructive criticism edit- Also I run my navigations on 2G only. After an hour of jam with GPS turned on, I still have >80% battery left Also a reason that I have never used a powerbank since using smartphones for 5-6 years. Never once. The problem if you only use 1 gps your perspective and understand limited to 1. Try use different gps because so obvious you trying talk kok mr. fanboy. If you wanna make comparison also make a proper or constructive comparison not blindly support? 2nd Dont believe me ask those who say they dont use the powerbank mostly they buy phone to standby or not much friends on social networks so their phone tend to last that long. Dont believe me google for your phone manufacturer and see what the average battery drain. 3rd GPS only drop 20% you think apa from your house drive 5mins then nah i only drop 20% isnt that a joke? Please go make your research If you are using an old phone possible most modern or current phones are running dual or quad core or octa core so their processor are more powerful so it tend to make more battery but faster to complete the task. Even you are on 2G network the screen needs power, audio needs power and gps needs power. 4th Please go research how google traffic works no point blindly support its hard to explain to you since you never try others. We have nothing against other gps but as of now after trying we feel waze is better because of the live traffic reporting not showing your fanboys but pretend not a fanboy but you are the pure fanboy get it? QUOTE(samlee860407 @ Dec 17 2013, 10:30 AM) yea, ban waze immediately. i am speechless show how noob some ppl are at least it warned you that you need to be stationery to set the navigation and drive not driving while setting like other gps allows you too. google maps, apple maps, nokia maps, standalone gps device all tak pa anyway, talking about this, i find that waze function of "cannot type during driving unless passenger" is even more dangerous. because when driver want to type something and that pop up came off, it actually takes away the driver attention more to bypass it by saying he is the passenger =.=' YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE PRESSING WHILE DRIVING. Your intelligence got trolled so badly by a gps software. It only appear when it detects you are on the move if you are stationery it wont appear. If tak ada is dangerous that the main cause of accident. Cant understand small brain ppl |

QUOTE(samlee860407 @ Dec 17 2013, 10:43 AM) that's is exactly what i say in my previous post when you quoted me. popping means people warn you and if you still dont listen you are responsible of your own action.you don't get my point at all. what i mean is, yes, you are not supposed to press while driving. but what does that pop up help? it only cause the driver to focus more on the phone. initially the driver might only need to spend 5 seconds, but with that pop up, he will need to spend 10 seconds on it. will the driver stop pressing the phone when the pop up appear? No, he won't. he will bypass the pop up and fool the device and say he is the passenger so he can continue type. so, what's the point of that pop up then? If people didnt tell you and u still do it we cant blame. But ppl warn you di you still do its your own doing get it |

QUOTE(samlee860407 @ Dec 17 2013, 08:38 PM) no idea. but I know that the pop up definitely doesn't solve the problem, which in fact, is actually creating even more problem. for you maybe for me is not. Its warn me but if i still do it i understand the consequence is like terms and condition you tick it and proceed means u accept the terms and condition. Creating more problem if your mind is limited |

QUOTE(samlee860407 @ Dec 17 2013, 09:28 PM) lol, i don't know what kind of your mind is if you think it's like terms and condition As u said you dislike you cant expect me everyone must agree with you right? If you think its not good just stop using it settle.and i say most drivers will ignore. i never say me. also , for you is not doesn't mean everyone in the world is like that. i think the best is totally disable the option to type when driving, but then it again, i think they won't do that because many people will stop using it. |

QUOTE(crash123 @ Jan 2 2014, 08:19 AM) lol..the irony thing is u are truly waze fanboy..he show the prof and u still deny it..let him say waze suck..it is their opinion..u say waze is good app..see at appstore comment about waze and u will see how many people satisfied and unsatisfied with waze..dont be a kid and wanna argue about the thing that u dont even contribute a single coding in their app.. i dont understand what's wrong with you doesnt mean because you are a fanboy you expect everyone to be like you. in reality, if you are a fanboy it only applies to you. I cant stop you acting as a kid.Because an adult know the difference and they clarify clearly the benefits of pros and cons. A kid and fanboy like yourself will argue for the sake of arguing see the difference. By the way since you are a fanboy you need to make it clear to yourself non of the developers pay money for you to support blindly its your choice. Hope this clarify your confusion if you wanna be a fanboy keep to yourself, no one will laugh at you but boasting you are a fanboy just making yourself looks like a fool. Lastly for a fanboy, it depends on individual needs for a kid like yourself probably you use to show off, but for adults in reality they want the gps to bring them to point A to point B and also try it best to avoid traffic. See the difference, for showing off waze unable to fulfill your needs, most probably you need apple maps. But for daily use, some prefer waze, some prefer google, some prefer nokia drive so different people have different needs. For a kid and fanboys hope you understand different people have different needs not everyone are like you. Let people decide what they want. I am a frequent traveler so after using so many navigation maps, i decided waze is my preferable choice to suit my needs not you keep showing off that you are a fanboy. Even you wanna blindly support its your choice. Hope this clarify your confusion in yourself. If you refer frontpage the reason are listed there why waze is my preferred choice not wall of text you blindly support your apple maps or some garmin device and etc This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Jan 2 2014, 11:24 AM |
