The Asylum is a fairly young Malaysian guild in Gorgonnash server (Horde). It was set up by a bunch of friends from Setapak, SS2, Damansara, Penang, etc. This is so we can raid together in high end instances, and then go yamcha to talk about the latest wipes. There is casual PvP on the side too. We got MC and Onyxia on farm, and we are working our way in BWL. Although the World Cup has hurt our attendance a lot, we expect to pick it back after that

We are quite relaxed people, and don't take anything seriously. We also don't mind helping new fellas out, provided they are willing to help themselves too lol. It doesn't matter if you are new to WoW or raiding, provided you are willing to learn. Hate raiding? Then come PVP with us.

We're a pretty casual bunch, although we expect elitism during raids. But after that, you can dance naked in Ironforge, nobody cares

Locals are preferred, altho we have some mat sallehs in our guild that wake up at 6am (their time) to raid with us. Conversed languages over Ventrilo are mainly in ah beng english and cantonese

Update to avoid further confusion. Asylum is gone. We formed a new Guild called Kraken. The core members are the same, the management is the same. But all the alts and casual players are gone.

The difference is we only do hardcore raiding. New players can still join and get raid slot, but they have to attend our 40man raids consistently.
