Just came back from 1 Gadget and got my Nexus 5 16GB Black

Initially they told me sold out and ask me to come back in Jan.
But lucky told them i already PM them and was advise that there is stock.
Then they check and told me to come back a few hours later, new stock coming in. Go for dinner and SMS them and was told stock just arrive.

Was there around 9.45pm and there was quite alot of ppl buying phone, a few was also getting the N5.
Lucky got mine as I was the last one there.
Pretty good service from their staff, kept the last unit for me.

They also have the 32GB version but price is high.
Decided to stick to the 16GB as i already have a 32GB N7.

Overall, quite happy buying experience.

1 Gadget selling RM1899 for 32GB
RM350 difference if compare to 16GB Black
RM400 difference if compare to 16GB White

Not worth it for the extra 16GB, Just my opinion

I didn't count but the counter row was pack with ppl
When i was there earlier (around 6pm), there was like only 2 - 3 ppl but when i was there the 2nd time to collect my N5, around 9.45, the counter row was pack with ppl

I'm playing with my N5 and I find that I wish Google had put the call function on the N7 as it seems so much more fun playing with Kit Kat on the N7 instead of N5. Maybe I'm use to my N7 and will change my mind once I'm settle in with the N5

My N5, when in lock screen, the below part of the screen show "My Maxis" Then another line show "Emergency Call". In my old phone, I have this msg when there is poor reception. But on my N5 its always there. However, I have no problem making or receiving calls.
Just curious why the msg is there in the swipe to unlock screen.

Grab the neo hybrid case as I'm also using one (2nd hand) which i got from another forumer

What i like about it:
1) Doesn't add much bulk to the phone
2) Back cover is soft and nice to touch
3) Can still operate the phone with one hand
4) Not a finger print magnet like the Ultra Hybrid

What i don't like:
1) Doesn't feel it can protect ur phone very much from a 2-3 feet drop. It will offer some protection and reduce the chance of serious damage but won't eliminate it.
