Bro to be honest.. its a very simple rom and i love cataclysm as well, but rastakat seems to be very good with all the kernels and runs pretty darn well. I have tried purity as well and its good, but with Rastakat, i seem to be getting better battery life with most custom kernels.

Not sure, its best that your try it yourself.

In terms of features, i would say purity and cataclysm have more tweaking options comparatively whereas Rasta is updating and adding more features slowly smile.gif

You know what, after spending another hours reading, I'm still not convinced!! haha. Maybe because I'm in the office and can't concentrate. Will wait for weekend then.
Planning to use Cataclysm + Franco or ElementalX.
Btw, for nandroid backup, is it enough if I use the backup tool within TWRP? Saw too many backup application including Titanium backup, n now Im confused.

I have the paid Titanium backup and its good, but i rarely use it these days because i dont really have many applications installed. Firstly in order to use Titanium backup, you need root access... So if you are going to unlock your bootloader for the first time, everything will be wiped off your phone.

TWRP is the best recovery at the moment in my opinion compared to CWM. Its fast and stable and clean smile.gif
