Anyone has rooted and flash their N5?
I haven't root rootn flash my phone before and i think i would like to try it. Any suggestions?

i succesfully rooted my N5. now i dont know what ROM should i install.
cataclysm maybe?

really? i tot it would need some modifications here and there.
so if i flash the kernel, do i need to backup my data? afraid it will wipe my data

I accidentally tersepit my phone at the bonet door.
i forgot i put my phone there.

actually i already ordered Rhino Shield for my N5, but looks like it too late now.

yeah, i know that feel now. i use it not even a month.
i really love it and now its broke already. i just hope that somewhere out there are some shop that have nexus 5 screen. if i use samsung definately will have spare parts everywhere

wont effect the phone, just the top half of the screen cannot be use.i mean when i didnt detect my finger movement. below half is not affected at all

the screen didnt crack actually, it just the inside of the screen is crack. from the outside its still smooth as new. i didnt know how to buy via eBay, hence i dont know how to install the screen if i buy it anyway

its hard for me to explain in English, let me explain it in malay.
semalam i pergi PD, lepas siap mandi pantai i tukar baju di belakang pintu. disebabkan sudah gelap i bukak torch kt N5 i. i letak n5 tu dekat bonet belakang, kereta estima punya bonet belakang, dan i letak dekat dengan engsel pintu tu.
then lepas siap i lupa hp i then i close the bonet.

yes sakit hati. lagi sakit hati sekarang ni takde spare parts lagi.
maybe i will ask my friend to sent it to repair overseas, one of my friend is going to Aus this 17.
maybe i give my N5 to him and repair there. donno what it will cost.

where to buy second hand N5? every N5 owners love their Nexus. hahah
i also consider to sell my N5 and get the new one. but dont know if anyone want to buy it anyway.

how much they sell for 16gb and 32gb black?
and maybe u can ask how much the price for the screen only, maybe i can change the screen here if u bought 1 there.

this page gives me a clue that replacing the N5 screen could be expensive due to the screen is fused to the display module. they said that replacing the screen could be expensive or very difficult.

some say that it would be easier if u change the module once than replace the glass alone.
its because its difficult to replace the glass only.
