my current options for avr is below 3k, a
1) denon x1500h
2) Yamaha RXV 685

Any other options AVR or this 2 is good enough, most of the ppl are telling me to go for yamaha cause of better built quaility.

I have no idea how avr works really between different kind of price range, but would it be overkill or underpower if i paired it with QA 3050i LCR, might reserve for the surround/subwoofer as well if budget allows in future.

I need cables for this as well, any recommendation ? I heard that these hifi system nowadays does not come with cables. No idea about budget for speakers but probably less than RM500.

so both yamaha and denon avr does not make any big difference in terms of sound quality or features ? Any better options within the price range 3k.
thinking of my whole set of speaker cost less than 8k, just doesnt feel right that the ratio to spend more than 3k for the avr.


What do you mean by cheap cable ? those i saw online can cost from few dollars to thousand. max i can do is RM 300-500 (not sure this is consider cheap or premium) for cables, given the model of my speaker system (possible of getting a QA 3050i cinema pack). Btw, my living room size is 16 x 16.
