some of them might also get slower speed rate on Sandisk model. So long you can cope with the speed is okay, it is still a SSD, nothing to complain with

Your answer is corrected.

For most 128, 120gb was write speed lower than 240,250,256gb SSD.

Even my late 2012 retina MBP are the same.
To compare from my mid 2012 unibody non retina display upgrade to 250gb samsung 840 Evo much smooth than the retina MBP late 2012 speed for open program when boot up.

The big different you can test was in the About Apple and go to view your storage, these was take you some time to calculating on actual storage you has been usage.

If the faster speed just few second was appear already.

For example here and see how many sec will pop up.

it's a quick test on my Macbook air 2013 128GB SSD, seems like the 256GB write speed is faster. smile.gif

No your is 2012 edition so nothing to improve an SSD PCIe speed, unless you change to current late 2013 edition.

Hmm....not really...
After removing the existing 500GB sata Hardisk from the Macbook Pro I'm unable to use the hardisk as the output connecter from the optical disc is different.
