May I ask your impressions on the Altis 1.8. Is it a quiet car as claimed which is free from wind and road noise? THe suspension is fairly quiet as well when going over bad-surfaced roads, and the Super CVT provides a smooth and jerkless drive when accelerating from standstill? Is the engine fairly quiet during acceleration?

As for the fabric seats, are they fairly thick and comfortable? May I ask what is your benchmark ie. the vehicles you have driven, currently driving or owned, when you are describing on the performance of the new Altis?

I would appreciate your thoughts. Personally from The Star review of the new Altis 2.0V, I think it is a good sedan, though at a price tag of RM138k it does appear to be quite overpriced in my book. The 1.8 although quite bare in features at a more "down-to-earth" price looks more attractive.
