I think all altis 2014 have problem with tok tok tok door sound, service centre say wire hit door.... If cannot accept need open out each door to fix ....

Is the additional door rubber lining effective in sealing out traffic noise n smell from outside?

Hi， I've been driving my Toyota altis  2014 1.8g for a month now.. The issue is there is a slight click sound like when the brake pedal is pressed. Does anyone have the same issue? Is that click sound normal?

Secondly, I find that the sound insulation is very bad, motorcycles that ride past my car sound very loud. When you are stuck in an 1-hour daily traffic jam every morning to work, the last thing you want is listening to the loud engines of hundreds of motorcycles ride past.  Where can I go for car insulation? Toyota service center?

1) Sound insulation definitely poor. Maybe it's just simply not expected for a car of this segment.
2) Dashboard rattle noise even only after 3 months (It could be due to driving style, though. Even more so, in unforgiving Malaysian roads, with potholes/manholes/bumpers all over).

No other apparent issues, hopefully none will spring up soon. Even my ex-car MyVi survived longer before the dashboard rattled.

I can confirm tis is a pretty commom poblem for tismodel, rattling sound from passemger side door, after few months and from the driver side dashboard when nearly a year..oters inc knocking sound when turning steering to right hand side after gostan, and really poor sound insulation plus more seriously, judder from the front floor when turning slowly, all such poblems sc cannot do much as they will have to take apart the door panels etc, i think most buyers dont want especially when car is brand new

Any recommendations where to install the pedal lock brake and do car coating?

For car coating.. I was told that Waxson does a good job.. anyone wanna vouch on that?

Also, will installing the pedal lock brake void the car's warranty?

Guys, so far how many types of auto lock is there for Altis?

I have heard so far :-
1) speed lock meaning above 20kmph it will auto lock
2) brake lock meaning step on brake pedal it'll auto lock

Both plug and play so won't void warranty

Also, how much is it to do it outside? So far I have got quotation around 130-350...dunno what is the difference also..

How much it cost you? Does the LED have signal (amber color) function?
Does changing the fog cover need wiring?

Yea looks kinda weird, because my car still got Toyota warranty, does not want to get aftermarket.
Later Toyota say install aftermarket stuff, void warranty bla bla. 

Just asking, if install aftermarket camera, does it need to cut wire or tap wire, if I do not want it to plug into my cig 12v socket?
Our Altis only have 1 USB and 1 12v socket. 

I'm eyeing on the Osram ones, the one with DRL and LED Fog lamps together.
