Hi guys, I'm thinking of retire from WoW and starting B2. When I went to gamers.com.my to source for a copy, i got confused. I saw there is B2, B2:AF, B2:EF, B2:SF and also a B2:Deluxe. Do i need to get all of them to play or just a B2 will do? Or i should just wait for B2142?

err, 1st, its bf2. most of us plays the vanilla bf2. that is normal bf2, lol. so af(armored fury), ef(euro force), and sf(special force) are expansion pack. most of this pack sux, from what i heard.. bf2:deluxe never heard, sorry

Prolly bf2:deluxe is a combo which includes bf2 + bf2:sf

but i read some thread in this section, that many of you guys got the SF to unlock something? is it necessary or optional?

yes u need sf to unlock that extra(s) weapon.... but... i think u can unlock the extra(s) by playing in ur friends house who got SF (if you really didnt want to buy it )

BF2 deluxe has bf2 vanilla, special forces and euro force, all for RM159.

all 3 seperately will cost RM233.

so for starter like me that never play BF2 before, advisable to get vanilla first then later when pro then get SF for those extra weapon?

i read the review in gamespot saying that you only enjoy the game if everyone play their role like a squad. do teamwork really exist on random match up? or u guys have some clan or something?

Just a game. You worry to much. Just buy the BF2:DEluxe and join the rank.

getting SF just to get extra weapons is dumb.
SF is completely diff gameplay to vanilla bf2, more infantry based.

I did not get SF cause mine is vanilla version, but seens he is getting a new one, then i think is more benefit to get the deluxe version.

Other then unlock, i thikn this will also allow the player to join most server as SF or EF server most of times got spare slot at peak hour.

thanks for the help guys. my WoW expiring in 12 July then will be upgrading my comp later than month for BF2. i believe it is more demanding than WoW.

i dont play unlock weapon
bcoz the weapon too good
for tournement...cannot use unlock weapon
so it;s better i just practice the normal weapon rather than unlock
