ngam ngam 10 years old should still be able to get loan, if you wanna buy a 2005 car in 2016 might be a problem.
Thanks sifu for reply, how about question as below:

1.) Would this be a good grab as already 10 yrs old than current price is at affordable range. Than, cost of maintenance etc?
2.) From ringgit plus, seems like affin bank giving the lowest car loan in market. How's their service? Good?

Side question: Tayaria / Kool Aire @ Glenmarie... their service is good, how about price ya?

1) They're pretty rare. I don't think maintenance would be on the thrifty side  sweat.gif

2) Not too sure about that never had a loan with Affin Bank before, but car loan services are pretty standard, submit documents and await approval. Nothing much extra. As long as there are many branches so easier for you to do the repayments. But just in case at least find a pretty loan officer so you keep going to see her also worth your time  drool.gif

3) Yea, the boss is a nice guy. Just look for Kelvin. Price wise is good too. He won't push or recommend you something which you cannot afford. There was a time my aircon kaput, cost over 800 to repair, told him I can only pay 400 first then another 400 month end, he also agree.

Good to hear for sharing good mechanic.

2008 BMW 120i - usually i see sellers having the 118 which is fine but you get more kit and power in the 120 plus the engine is similar to the 320 thus compatible parts always means lower prices for parts, however when i say lower price for parts don't go thinking it is going to be cheap to keep like a kancil it is a BMW afterall so eventhough it is an older model with R&D amortized the prices of parts are decently priced but still premium. Think of the price range as somewhere between a Mazda3 and Mazda6 in terms of part prices -- especially for big ticket items however routine service parts are cheap.

2005 BMW 320ci - okay so the car above is abit fugly and expensive. Then how about consider this one? Isn't a sports hatch as the one above it is a true coupe. Just as nice and of course just as rare so you'll still get a glance or two when you roll up in one eventhough it is a 10 year old model. This is the last chance for this model (after this over 10 years kenot loan) and at 48k it is worth considering as you get a coupe body, good looks, good engine which is shared with the regular 4 door 3-series thus parts are cheaper to obtain.

2007 BMW 323ci - sitting somewhere between the two above in terms of price and year, I consider this a good buy, might consider it myself. This coupe from from the e92 generation just before the current f30 generation, infact I think the f30's were inspired alot by this model as the front and back end do have similar looks. So you know what that means right? Common engine and gearbox platform means cheaper parts and the exterior looks that still look fresh now, especially since it is so rare.
Thanks for the suggestion....personally I don't like 1 series of BMW. The 323 looks delicious tho.

Btw how about this 2007 Lexus IS250, 2008 BMW 523i, 2007 BMW 730i, would it be a good grab?

2007 Lexus IS250

2008 BMW 523i

2007 BMW 730i

Cheers.

Option 3A
2011 Merc SLK200 @85k
2012 Merc C180 @85k

both are mercs but instead of an E-Class it is a C-Class, reason is the SLK is the rarer and more expensive to buy parts of for the two so at least if anything happens to the SLK you still have the C180 to drive around as it is a reliable car which is much more pocket friendly for this range of cars.
the SLK200 seems not mfg. year 2011, should be register 2011 but made before 2008 based on the steering as seems nt FL model with the price 85k also. Js too delicious, seems nt legit.

Can clarify? Thanks.
