This chromecast will be able to use at hdtvs as long as you have a hdmi slot as a source, it transmit the video/sound signal to the tv and you'll need a wifi to make it work. The package included a usb cable for you to supply more power to the chromecast in case the power supply is insufficient at your hdmi port.

Basically what you see in the web / youtube about chromecast is what you'll get. Hope that clarifies.

Yes the chromecast dongle can mirror android phone but not just any android phone, only selected flagship phone, the mirror function is still in beta stage(testing mode like gmail used to be)

Hi, I'm not sure whether GOM Player works for you, but you can try using google chromecast extension and play using chrome.

Did COD on 12/01, seller was a few minutes late however was responsible enough to call ahead to inform - so no biggie.
