QUOTE(ptewee @ Jul 1 2014, 11:08 AM) anyone tried to remove the stock car plate holder on the front bumper? are there screws which we need to release from inside the bumper? Answering my own question: took apart whole bumper and found 2 screws and 1 self-tap screw holding the holder in place, which can only be accessed from the inside |

During my 3rd service last weekend, SC said honda msia is currently not using the fully synthetic 0w20, replaced by SM 5w30 ... said there would be no problem as it is recommended by honda malaysia to use 5w30 in our Zs, so i went with it..
since then, i get 2-3 km/l lesser than usual... EDIT: no change in service interval... said that i can change back if honda malaysia carries 0w20 again during my next service... This post has been edited by ptewee: Oct 13 2014, 10:55 AM |

QUOTE(metaloid @ Oct 13 2014, 03:35 PM) I think ur SC ran out of stock for 0w20 cause i just serviced mine and can choose from 0w20, 5w30 and even fully syn5w40. I think its bull that HM recommends 5w30 cause in the user manual it says 0w20. |

Just realized today that my side mirrors cannot be turn left or right using the power mirror controls... only can tilt up and down...
happens on both sides... anyone have any idea what's going on? i know sometimes i will accidentally pressed on the mirror itself, forcing it to turn left or right (got 'click' sound), but i doubt that would affect the power controls... |

QUOTE(metaloid @ Oct 29 2014, 04:40 PM) Seems to me that the worse that can affect would be mainly the 12v battery... which requires replacement every 1-2 years or so anyway...This post has been edited by ptewee: Oct 29 2014, 06:26 PM |

I do agree that cruise control helps a lot in FC... im running the whole car stock, and with cruise control on ECON i can hit 23km/l on certain routes, especially empty roads at night... as for daily driving, i get a combined average of 18-19km/l.. pretty nice achievement for me

dont know about u guys, but after i lock the car, if i press the 'lock' button on the remote another time, it will do this in order:
1. one beep sound 2. signals flash non-stop 3. few seconds later, the alarm (horn) blares like hell the only way to stop that is to press unlock on the remote This post has been edited by ptewee: Jan 9 2015, 03:58 PM |
