Possible to use iPad as a phone, after jailbreak? I mean SMS and call like a normal phone (not skype or wechat...) I found this interesting: SIM card phone calls and messeges from ipadAny comments? Thanks!

Jailbreak voids your warranty and may harm your ipad.Many people do it and end up getting it into Apple's shop.But if you use a SIM card,you can FaceTime Message someone who uses Apple Device.Same like calling but Apple to Apple only.

It has been done b4 on iPad1... but why bother? First, it is not official and second, u need a BT headset to talk. Just go out and buy an Asus Fonepad instead.

jus use facetime since u can use facetime audio also.. or whatsapp for those who are not using idevices

Whatsapp not supported on ipad unless you change some settings using some outside program.
