Hi all

recently i've just came across with this cool camera, small in body, very pocketable but has an APSC sensor in it.
i've read review from stevehuff., dpreview and i've heard mixed review for this camera in term of focusing speed.

well of course i cant use this to benchmark against the big guys dslrs but is it fast enough to shoot moving kids?
any user from LYN care to share?

Hi bro..i have one..center spot focus is fast..faster than my other camera..but still not DSLR fast..for moving kids..hit and miss..overall IQ is gorgeous..especially for B/W..tonality is better than RX1..local price now around 2.6k..i mainly use GRD for B/W..

yup..my 2 year old son..runs everywhere..to be honest..olympus em-5 or new em1 is the best for it..GR not that bad..with the lens at 28mm..u can stop down to f4..at least even u miss focus..subject still in focus..

Hmm, still em1/em5 the best eh. Perhaps i should stick to my oly ep3.

Anyway, where did you buy the camera? I went to lowyat, most shops dont carry. Wanna at least hold it before giving up the idea of buying heheh.

i got it from YL camera..u can give them a call to check got stock or not..i think u will love it..very compact..easy to fit in the pocket..and IQ better than em5..
