Yep, the payment was sent to First National Bank of Omaha, I called TD Ameritrade before to confirm their SWIFT code. All my name and details were in order as they should have been, I'll call TDAT again today to see if they can give me a reason (yesterday was Martin Luther King day, ie. banks not working) - don't want to waste $44 USD again for the payment to get returned again  The only restriction they told me is that the funds must be coming from an account in my own name.

The 'per-contract' is only apply to Options. Not Stocks.
Stocks are still the same 8.95/per trade.   That's slightly cheaper than TD Ameritrade, but more expensive than ScottTrade/MBTrading/TradeKing.

Options is like 1.25 per contract (only if you buy 10 or more). Otherwise, it still 12.95 per contract.
Yes, it seems pricey here.

If I invest in the US and lets say I have 10K USD. Does anybody know what the WireTranfer fees are from the US? Has anybody done it before? Just want to know what the hit will be.

Tips: goto counter and transfer one shot. Bank charge by transaction, not amount.

Hello everyone, how do I activate my Optionsxpress account. Am I suppose to send the documents to Singapore (like the W8-BEN form, the photos and prove of address) there or do I submit it online?
