Yep, the payment was sent to First National Bank of Omaha, I called TD Ameritrade before to confirm their SWIFT code. All my name and details were in order as they should have been, I'll call TDAT again today to see if they can give me a reason (yesterday was Martin Luther King day, ie. banks not working) - don't want to waste $44 USD again for the payment to get returned again  shakehead.gif The only restriction they told me is that the funds must be coming from an account in my own name.

My bank didn't give me much info :

Gwei lohs' issue with typical Surname & First names?
eg in MBB: Wong Seng Kwan
but in US a/c since we fill in First name = Seng Kwan, Last Name/Surname Wong, the account name = Seng Kwan Wong, which differs from MBB's?

Heard of this prob from other users when withdrawing $ from OptionsXpress to local bank account though. Not during $ in.

Let me give you a hint. The name of that user coincide with the AAPL price at 666.  So, AAPL must NOT get to this price otherwise this will be a bad omen.  tongue.gif

Well, I refering to this fees and commissions on their web site:
http://www.optionsxpress.com/about_us/pric...ommissions.aspx

The 'per-contract' is only apply to Options. Not Stocks.
Stocks are still the same 8.95/per trade.   That's slightly cheaper than TD Ameritrade, but more expensive than ScottTrade/MBTrading/TradeKing.

Options is like 1.25 per contract (only if you buy 10 or more). Otherwise, it still 12.95 per contract.
Yes, it seems pricey here.

Do you trade stocks or options or both?

Just to chip in data - i'm a newbie options trader (less than 5 mths including toe-in months) on OX but my commission cost is nowadays around $0.91-$0.92 [er contract (rounding errors when i dismantle the trades' costs). Doing mostly SPX & RUT ranging from 11 to 22 contracts.

Same here:

Brokers: IB

USD25k
Mbb money express:
Local bank charge: rm25
Us bank: usd28
Credited: same day.

Tips: goto counter and transfer one shot. Bank charge by transaction, not amount.

ah so.. i thought so, thanks for confirming.

too lazy to go counter heheh - my man-day (counter far from my office, need at least 1/2 day off tongue.gif) cost is more than that $ US bank charges.

maybe when i have $50K or $100K USD to transfer then i'll definitely remember to go counter - crazy man transfer several times over the month or two online + the cost laugh.gif

Hello everyone, how do I activate my Optionsxpress account. Am I suppose to send the documents to Singapore (like the W8-BEN form, the photos and prove of address) there or do I submit it online?

Sorry I'm new here.
