If i would like to buy options, what is the best brokerage to use now for US stocks?
*
I dunno about the best but I'm using TDAmeritrade (TDA) with its powerful ThinkOrSwim (TOS) trading platform.

QUOTE(Brother J @ Jul 23 2014, 11:32 PM)
4) Lesson learnt: It's always better to trade pre/post earnings than holding options into earnings on big stocks. However, for smaller stock (market cap<3B) options with longer expiration should be priority in order to profit even from a loosing position if you are into earning play. (see post #1276 on WWW options)

You learnt thru actual trading tuition fee, I leant this thru an option trading class I took 2 years ago. Both also need to pay smile.gif

I fund my account by transferring my company stocks in UBS to TDA. No charge.

Hi guys, newbie in US stocks here. Any of you invest in REITs or generally any yield stocks in the US? Since i'm new I'd like to start with simpler ones.
*
Simpler one? Just buy ETF, no need to worry about earning, company performance etc. It is like buying unit trust but trade like stock.

Thanks, will try to update Java
For some reason neither IB or TOS want to connect at the moment, strange. Everything else works fine

Not just this PC, tried another one too (on same network)
*
Mine working fine, at home and at work on 2 separate computers running Win 7 64-bit. Are you having proxy? Might want to setup or clear it if not having.

Here's a classical Head and Shoulder pattern  research conducted via Stern Business School in New York. I would definitely spend some time digging the info than watching repetitive HK drama content  drool.gif [Highlight: of all the results discussed in that paper itself, one of them is literally cash generator - of course that depends on how hard you do the reading, no pain, no gain]

This is an alternative link as I found that I could not download the one Brother J provided.
