The bulls are indeed still in charge..yet again.

Watch for another day or so for SP500 1890-1900. Let see if bulls can turn into bears one more time or not.

Halted and opened up $40+ to $565... dang.. market loves the news, not only beat estimates but $30 bln stock buyback and 7-1 splits in June. Definitely going for the moon now. Stay long, don't sell now.

After reading thru their earnings report and looking at how the stock move AH, I think tomorrow will be a good day for existing longs but not good for late comers who wanted to buy it. Don't just dive in here.
It's going to hit resistance level between 565 and 571 (last high in Dec). So, be careful here.

Also, I think the real reason AAPL is splitting is because they wanted get into Dow 30, not because they said it makes it more easier for investors to own it because of cheaper price. Usually, when companies have the stock splits, it can bad effect too. The HFC preprogramed price an make it more volatile... more targets for bear raids if they have a bad quarter. Once it gets into Dow, AAPL is going to be like the next MSFT. Old skool tech.

For growth play...FB, TWTR and WB could be next AAPL.

True. Nothing on fundamentals.. but psyche says "SELL SELL SELL".

I'm ringing the cash register here for my QQQ. Almost reach 50ma here. Time to lock in profits.

If Ukraine issues escalate to full scale war this weekend, then we can see more kaboom.

I want to see SP500 break below 1850 and water fall drop all the way to 1780 this time. The bears missed the opportunity for raid last time.

Yes.. it's still in bull territory.

Have to wait till it drops below 50ma, little bears will come out and play.
Let's hope it will drop below it next week and stay there...

Last time (2nd-3rd wk of April), we only got 3 days of bear play...

In late Jan-Feb, we got 12 days of bears.

In 2011, we got 5 months of bears..

SP500 earnings have been avg 5%-6% year over year but last year, the market has multiple PE expansion of 10-15% based on 7% earnings. PE was at 18 as of Dec 2013. Fwd PE at 15.2.
This quarter, it is roughly still flat.. 63% beat on lowered estimates.

I don't think the market is cheap here and I think it has to go lowered for it to become attractive.

Waahh.. AAPL nice candlestick! But, I'm not chasing this..

Let see if other momo stocks are can take down Nasdaq even more than AAPL can hold it up.

Let me give you a hint. The name of that user coincide with the AAPL price at 666. So, AAPL must NOT get to this price otherwise this will be a bad omen.

General indexes are up but certain sectors are still down.

Biotechs - down
Gaming/Leisure - down (this is where LVS/MGM/WYNN/MPEL getting whacked for past 2-3 weeks)
Industrial - up
Home Building - down
Transport - neutral
Oil services - up
Financials - neutral
Solar - down from yesterday sell off due to Credit Suisse warning about China but I think buying opportunity here.

Ahemm <cough><cough> ...shhh remember, don't mention da name.. too dangerous here.

Bulls only on general index but bears are attacking those momo Internet stocks one by one.

Also, the recent IPO WB is not doing too good too.

Market is near all time high..job numbers are good, late buyers are here to give it one more push but smart money already trying to take some off the table here.

Anyway, early bears can shorting here, with a stop at 1890. Already 4 times, bulls can't get above 1890.

We need at least one or two weeks of down side move to get to 1800 here. It won't be a straight jump..

Even before 1800, now the bulls team got support at 1850 level, and another support 1815-1820 level.

Unless bears can get more reinforcement to pile, hammer and pierce through these 2 level of floors, it may be difficult
for bears to get to the basement at 1800.
