QUOTE(danmooncake @ May 5 2014, 10:41 PM) Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by "...fir the cash purchase of stocks"? thansk for the reply. i remember i was sharing with a friend with the Thinkorswim and the per contraxt rate was muchcheaper. am i being right? or maybe reactivate my Optionsexpress ?Option Express rates says.. 8.95/trade flatrate for stocks, 1.25/per contract for options. Sounds reasonable to me.. But, it can get expensive if you're day trader. thanks alot btw, i punt quite abit, short term. lol This post has been edited by mikehwy: May 5 2014, 10:50 PM |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ May 6 2014, 09:27 PM) Well, I refering to this fees and commissions on their web site: hi.http://www.optionsxpress.com/about_us/pric...ommissions.aspx The 'per-contract' is only apply to Options. Not Stocks. Stocks are still the same 8.95/per trade. That's slightly cheaper than TD Ameritrade, but more expensive than ScottTrade/MBTrading/TradeKing. Options is like 1.25 per contract (only if you buy 10 or more). Otherwise, it still 12.95 per contract. Yes, it seems pricey here. Do you trade stocks or options or both? i shall b trading with stocks in the near future as i am a lil busy lately. busy guy plays options might lose my pants. lol thanks again. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ May 7 2014, 11:49 PM) hope the dips will delay a bit because i am still struggling wih opening a new account with Options Express. btw, i was directed to Spore site for opening the account. Live chat said Spore handles the Malaysian accounts, but funding 'still has to be made to my 'account'? + dics to be sent/fax to the US site ... does it also mean to fund to the US instead of Spore? i have just registered an account with Spore site (yet to furnish the signed docs). Can some friends care to explain the role of the Spore Options Express?thanks in advance. |
