If I'm an investor and wanting to invest a plant in Malaysia and I see you people asking 5 K salary, I'll be looking elsewhere like China or India

Although your point is a well known fact, still China has become an investment pit and India is not far behind. Where is Malaysia sitting ? Malaysia still can't come up with revolutionary ideas, no patents and technical skill. If we cannot stay competitive in terms of cost, times will be bad. Singapore has already move to R&D and less on manufacturing. Malaysia is suffering from brain drain and increasing cost.
