I am new to this security software. just purchase a pc that comes with it.

there is a msg keep popping up that says

"A recent attempt to attack your computer was blocked"


then i proceed to check the statistic.
the no of intrusion attempts keep increasing non-stop in a fast rate.


what happened? im blur

most likely ur computer is connected to broadband and is on for 24 hours? well, not to worry, the message is just telling you that NIS has blocked a virus/or nasty... attack on your computer. But frankly, do tell us, are you using a firewall and so on. If not, better buck-up. You are on very dangerous grounds. Intrusion attampts shooting... (shocking)

Internet security = Norton Firewall and Antivirus combined. so he has a firewall already

Hi...wanna ask you something...you already done some port forwarding??IE ...for your BT needs or games...if BT...those peers tries to connect with you to get a stable node..[correct me if I'm wrong]..and Norton blocks it..

You can disable the pop up notification. Its normal to have more than 1k intrusion if you didnt off yr pc.

O yea. My mistake. I forgot that NIS has a firewall... careless...
