Today sent my alza adv to SC for first service 1000km. Have to pay RM55 for changing auto gear oil, plug gasket and battery protector.
So the 3 years free service is not really free for all. shocking.gif

I had go for the '3M' rubber floor mat.  I top up about RM100-120 long time ago during my upgrade of sound system.  That cover the rear where a 1 big piece covering the 3rd row seat when folded down.

I have that covered as sometimes we carry things in and out, so the rubber mat can protect the 'carpet' type face.

Try ask the accessories shop near you, they have few big rolls with diff color to choose from.
*
I did asked "brother shop" and another accessories shop, but brother price is expensive with quality (thicker), RM300 for whole car while another accessories shop price is RM120 (same thickness as perodua) for whole car, not sure the brand, sales man said local maker.

The free item are labour charges, oil filter and engine oil only. For other item recomended by SC have to pay extra. What I saw on the list for 2nd service have to pay only rm8. But for 3rd service have to pay rm188 if follow what recomended by SC.

It is a 2 rings padding to place on the 2 terminals. I did not use it after that as it is oily.

It actually to prevent the 'molding' of 'white fungus' at the terminal.

What I did is to wipe the engine bay if possible during every DIY wash. At certain time, I just spray some tyre shines onto the terminals and wipe it off with cloth. That does it.

Yo Alza fans, i know this is an Alza Club session but I am in serious desperation and in need of help.

I am driving an Auto Kenari since year 2006 188k Mileage in total, no modification to it.
Since I got this car not long, its first ever Engine Stall was entering a car park when its still bout 4months old, sent to perodua sc to find out the problem. No problem to be found.

After some time it has random engine stall but not frequent. Most of the time is during traffic jam, when I was trying to shift lane from full stop. Once I turn the power steering it stalled. So I went and check power steering motor, no issue as well.

Up until since last year onwards, the throttle not stable during idle mode (Neutral gear as well as D4 gear with breaks on). The RPM kept from approx. 1100 drop to 600 then rise again and the engine kept choking but didn't lead to engine stall problem.

Mechanic has check spark plug, idle sensor, FCU board, spark coil, cleaned throttle body with chemical cleaner, no issue with all these parts. Still can't find the causes of this unstable throttle.

I am wondering has it anything to do with torque converter / throttle body worn out? Or unstable electricity?

Of cause I service my car always within 5k mileage.
once I accelerate and drive, the engine is as smooth as it was new... So am not sure is there anything wrong with transmission as it shift up and down without any issue. And my kenari can go up until 140km/h without any issue.

Though I am planning to buy an Alza, I want to get this problem fix first before I sell it off sad.gif

Below are the video of engine choking during D4 gear, this happen during N gear as well... you can hear the noise of the engine is making from this video.

Dude. ... wish you get your Alza soon.

I was waiting for almost a month for my silver Alza AV. After a few hiccups including the explanation that silver colour will take time for delivery i.e. 8 more weeks. I just told the sales advisor to just get me an Alza of any colour as long as I can get one a.s.a.p.

In the end n after almost a month.... 24 jan till 18 Feb, I finally got the mystical purple one.

Hope your wait ends soon.

I change my tyre to micheline X2 195/55/r15, no need to change the original sport rim. It look little bit fat so the tyre shop man told me to becareful coz if I hit the tyre from the side it will damage the tyre first.

This is a bit troublesome since so many things has been checked.

Have the mechanics check and clean the 'sensor'..like Air fuel sensor?

and also spark plug cable? If machanic got spare one...to have it a try.

You can install 3rd party auto car lock come with buzzer but it will void your alarm warranty. I already install it. Once you press the brake the door will auto lock. The original alza alarm sound is connect to the car horn. Once the alarm trigger the alarm sound is the car horn sound.

Did anyone install the auto car door lock after getting the car? How does it work? Those Honda and Toyota will auto lock after 20 or 30 km/h. I prefer it to lock once I let go the brake.
The Alza got no buzzer but does it have an alarm? I am still waiting for my car therefore not very sure about these items.
Thanks

You can install the buzzer during your service in the service centre.

On the auto lock, maybe it is removed in latest version. My Alza stil have the auto lock whenever I pressed brake after getting into the car with the key in ACC or engine started.
