Got matte one? Thought of going to replace my SPG Clear Crystal which got a lot of scratches. And got Back SP as well?

To tell the truth, smoothness and battery wise,I really like iOS more than android in those ways,no matter nexus,or whatever pure android or project butter, the iPhone is STILL smoother than any phone, and yet so small battery able to last very long, but of course, much more features are missing, and multitasking is way too low to my standard, you try scroll down notification bar on any of your iOS device with YouTube,it'll pause and stop loading, this also proves that iOS only concentrate at one thing at a time, you can also try loading test, the iOS device won't load other stuffs when you use one apps, and thus making it more smoother and all that, but in speed, latest android smartphone will always win

Anyway you know my point,I've tried using iPhone 5 myself for 1 whole day, with 3g on,it can last me around whole day compared to my nexus 4,use like half day, need to charge, obviously some of you guys might root or anything, and might show me SOT of the phone, but iPhone being able to last longer than nexus 4 yet smaller battery is just so good, and yeah,I'm a huge fan of nexus series,I'm saying this based on my experience

QUOTE(cowithgun @ Jan 28 2014, 11:22 PM)
truth is, i m very impress with iPhone 5. so much that i own one for about a year now  blush.gif  but my nexus 4 still my main phone. it's amazing the tiny 1440 mAh (iPhone 5) can some times last longer than my undervolt n4 with 2100mAh battery, especially in browsing and video playback.

i guess that is the advantage of having design own A6 chip, retina screen, IOS and everything that tied together by a single company.

but my nexus 4 still my main phone. battery not as great but enough for me to last thru the day, even most extensive usage. smoothness? seriously... my Nexus 4 is smoother. not easy to tell. but my Nexus 4 never lag once! (i solved the sometime chrome lag 0.5 seconds start in kitkat after i update to latest chrome).

with iPhone 5 (IOS 7), try open 10 or more app. double press on home. scroll thru list of app. quickly close a few by swiping it away. you will see minor lag.

my nexus 4, going to same process, won't break a sweat. i have not able to make my nexus 4 lag yet!

iPhone 5's A6 is running at 1.3ghz max speed and just 1gb ram. most of the time (99% for most user, may be 90% for power user?), you can't make it lag.

but comparison to nexus 4 at 1.5ghz and 2gb ram... i love the raw power that allow me to open as many app as i want, care free and still with excellent smoothness.

you can see the difference in power if you can do extensive memory value search in both phone. in those heavy computing and memory operation, the raw power of the phone stand out. (psstt.. that's how i 'overpower' all the games in my phone)

but main reason i m on nexus 4 and not iPhone is Android.... love the ability to change and compile almost everything in android.
*
Finally someone understand me,and my reason is the same as you, nexus 4 always wins in raw power, and iPhone multitasking is bad,and every software updates basically make it more of lags than smooth, and yeah, overall I still prefer android

Wow,didn't knew this phone got so much issue, the issue I have right now is just power slightly insensitive and sometimes auto reboot,my warranty ended,so not worth the cost for changing the power button

Seriously student shouldn't even be using such expensive smartphone. Example my 3 children survive on basic Nokia/SE around RM 300 till they graduate from U as personally I never believe in buying smartphones/tablets for them ;  only Notebooks as this will help their studies
*
Well, this is a bit off topic, anyway we're living at a different generation, and I said RM50 is expensive to me as a student,it might be a peanut, dirtcheap to other students,or even you adults,I'm just stating my opinion that you need RM50 JUST to change a button is expensive, then you came out with "Seriously student shouldn't even be using such expensive smartphone.",oh well,go tell random kids this then

lol no. what i meant is as long the screen is on (like just watching video and not doing other things) i can get such long sot. but its useless coz we normally will connect our phone to data, and by connecting to data and web surfing i don't think can get such good sot like they mention.
also, some of them seems to be able to get that sot once or just a few times only. after that they can't get that much sot again, so i think that time that they got the sot, they were doing something very, very light
*
Yeah I agree with you,SOT is quite pointless if you keep on turning on and off your phone while data is on,and its always inaccurate, and I only get up to 5 hours sot when watching movies on my phone, browser maximum 4 hours only
