Are there any method to close a call using power button? Then I wont have to wait for the screen to come on before pressing the end call icon.

Currently not as I'm a newbie here... But I noticed that my phone's touchscreen became totally unresponsive after switching runtime to ART.. somehow managed to boot into safe mode and fixed the issue...

From what I see here, to replace the approximity sensor would need the whole from panel or the motherboard swap...
I think I`ll use the power button as an option... but it really bugs me when I'll have to answer calls normally. cry.gif cry.gif
Just got this phone in less than a week and sensor issues. sad.gif

When I got it 3 days ago, I noticed that the screen went blank after placing or receiving a call and cant turn on the screen even after ending the call. Used androsensor app and it was shown that the value of approximity sensor did not change at all. Not caused by screen protector since there are space at the top left corner.

Mine also shows 0 but the headphone jack is working fine. I also use the power button to end a call. Did you ensure that the connection of the module is secured?( just checking)

thanks,
i think it's better if the sensor is the problem, you only need to fork out around RM50 to replace it. rather than changing the whole screen module lol

btw is your phone 2nd hand? when u bought it u didnt check it first? or the problem just arise after awhile?
*
Mine arised a short while after using the phone.. The RM 50 for replacement is quoted from the service center or getting the module from other sources and DIY?

Hi, do you guys have issues with your power buttons being quite unresponsive?? Mine have to press 2-3 times for the phone to register the input and after the screen is on, the touch screen itself sometimes need more than one touch to register my inputs...

After warranty ended, few of us here tried to open up the Nexus 4 ourself, actually is not as hard as you thought as long you have the right tools. nod.gif
*
How do you obtain the tools? I'm okay about opening up the phone, as long as my fingers aren't buttery.. tongue.gif

no more nexus edi bro. nexus 5 will most likely to be the final nexus. for me i might jumpship to ios when iphone 6 comes out. i always avoided iphone due to the ridiculous screen size, but now they are gonna have a screen size similar to our nexus 4..
*
Seriously?! Would they plan on going with the Google Edition then? Really would miss phones without fast updates from Google... cry.gif

Yes. Moto X and Moto G is as fast as Nexus/GPe. If I'm not mistaken, Moto X get KitKat after 1month of KitKat released, and Moto G get KitKat after 1month later the devices start selling.
*
But to root and play around with Moto X or G really headache. rclxub.gif

unlocking the bootloader or rooting would cause instant void of warranty... At least Samsung could reconfigure the counter...

I got my 8GB version, phone only for 660... Is it worth it? Upgraded from Galaxy Nexus as I really hated the AMOLED display... flex.gif Now loving the LCD display except super-easy to crack it.. blink.gif
