Currently on stock ROM and TC Stock Kernel... Not bad for also... Custom kernel I prefer Hell, Matrix and Trinity....

Still on cm 4.2?I used 4.3 CM for a few months, and no issues. You can just flash CM 4.3 over 4.2 and retain your data. Currently jump ship to PSX, might jump back into CM 11 once things settle down.

Can you take some pictures? If it was a local set, you could  have claimed for warranty

battery got bloated could be due to water or heat. do you have a habit of charging the phone in the car (may be not so much about irregular voltage but more like it's hot)?

As screen cracking are not within the warranty's coverage, both local and US sets will be charged by LG Malaysia (at Kelana Jaya Service Centre or other branches, call them up to check) for screen replacements, according to most forummers here whom had repaired their cracked screen.

Front-Screen Replacement: RM350
Back-Glass Replacement: RM180

Non-local sets will be charged an extra of RM30 (confirmed for front-screen by damned_dude, need confirmation for back-glass)

Also, they will usually replace it on-the-spot for you (takes around 15 ~ 30 minutes) if they have ready-stocks for changing parts. You might want to give them a call before paying them a visit to save time!

what did you see?

if u get <waiting for device>, that's probably mean you need a universal driver.

if u get checksum error, that mean file you download incomplete

if u get file not found, that mean you are not in the directory where u extracted the files... or also could mean you have not extract the zip...

so, which one is sit bro? 

before u redownload, just check if your download is complete.

to check:

1) download md5sum for your pc: http://www.pc-tools.net/win32/md5sums/

2) run this:

md5sums occam-krt16s-factory-2006f418.tgz

Make sure the md5 sum is exactly like here:

which, in this case: e60c3077c9bc9bd106eb3077992f0d6c

if the value is the same, no need re-download. in this case, something wrong during extraction.

if the phone can stay in Bootloader without auto off (for say 30 minutes), that mean it's bad / corrupted ROM. solution is to flash back to Stock ROM:

if phone auto off even in Bootloader, battery problem. solution:

1. Try off, and fully charge it 5 hours
2. Power on

if problem persist, visit Service Center, change battery.

Hair Dryer does the job too
