Hi all Nexus 4 users, i brought my Nexus 4 on Feb 2013, 1 year warranty just passed, my power button gone crazy liao !! Erm, very not sensitive now, have to press multiple multiple times only can wake the phone.

I want to know is there anyone facing this same problem? and if you already fix it how u fix it? How much $$ does it COST ??

So far, i Suspected is Digitizer's pasal la.. but Hair Dryer also can [But u need the thin hair wire to separate the stupid blardy Digitizer man.. ]

-go Amazon bought the part
[LCD+Digitizer, which damaged my wallet around MYR 370]
-got your precision screw set

PM abang ECTT's for the tools [which u may find it at garage sales la ]

Just remember, when u opening the back cover... use the guitar pick/deplastizer tol opened it..the step is damn

unscrew battery-> den use guitar picks to popped that out {NVR USE SCREW to pop that battery soc coz i damaged the shit battery Sockets w the minus screw n need wait till next Mon go LG KJ repair the shiet :-x ]

and then
popped the rest ...

den replace the heck of the LCD+digitizer

n screw it all the shit n turn on n see

ta-da u r done your job..

but if u wanna replace your digitizer... is quite kind wasted around 45 mins..[20-30 mins to defuse the glue n take away the damaged digitizer; apply 3M digitizer panel (1 kind of the little layer stuff) + the special glue to re-glue the LCD panel, refuse again till around is fully sticked like "magnet pole" ]

hey guys~ nice to know that your N4 is still ok...i'm really quite sad as for now it is apparent that the digitizer is getting haywired, sometimes my pointer "ghosts" around the nav bar. There were times where the nav bar went to normal. but after a few mins, it became none responsive again.

Btw guys, I have decided to order through ebay and replace it myself (I lovey my Nexy so much ).

was thinking whether to get the digitizer WITH the IPS screen or I should just get the digitizer. Does anyone here have come across spoilt IPS screen? except for the normal light leaks and the bottom. i know that alot of owners now experienced battery failure and I'm thinking of getting battery replacement too. haha.

Anyway. If you guys wanna get the replacement for the digitizer, do let me know. I will order within these few days.

Hi guys,

I posted a couple months back that my Nexus 4 got the RED LIGHT OF DEATH and since then have been trying everything I can to get it fixed. 2 weeks ago I received my replacement battery to swap out with the original hoping that it would solve my problem but still nothing. Only thing I can say is that instead of getting the usual 11 red light blinks everytime I try to revive it, I get different red blinking sequence now.
Maybe the phone is getting a little responsive??

Right now the only option that I have not tried is the first post on this thread in XDA. Mainly because I dont have experience working with exposed wires and scared I will blow up the battery, sounds very dangerous so dont wanna try it at all.

Anyone knows anywhere reliable and not too expensive to get this problem fixed?

Is there any other way to verify that it is a problem with the mainboard? I dont know anyone with a wireless charger so I cant really charge it up and see if it drains out.
Right now I'm thinking it could be a problem with the charging port. Being very optimistic about this. Heh.

There is one app that can do all of those things called TouchControl, but its been discontinued by the developer due to unknown reason. Works on any stock/custom rom for nexus 4,5 and 7
