Okay. But mi3 can't upgrade the android os right? Hmm
*
You can actually, its using its own custom version of android Miui which is currently on 4.3 but will be updated to 4.4 soon if I'm not mistaken.

Something must have went wrong during the update process. Not normal like this. Were you rooted or something when you updated?

Not a major update. Mostly bug fixes so not much difference I guess. Some bugs we never even know existed

Anyone else here been getting better battery life with 4.4.4? My battery life has improved significantly since updating. I used to be able to only get around 2 hours SOT with 8 to 10 hours standby time. Now am able to get 3 hours SOT with 20 hours standby smile.gif I'm on PA 4.4 final.

It's user issue. If the user is smart enough to root and do some tweak for nexus to last a day is not an issue.
I'm very happy with my N4~ wink.gif
*
Not really. sweat.gif I've used the galaxy nexus and nexus 4 and both have very bad battery life. And I root, underclock, custom kernel and custom rom. Although for my nexus 4 the battery life has improved recently after updating android to 4.4.4 so its much more tolerable. Sometimes I think its luck also. I see some people posting on XDA where they can get 6 hours SOT while I'm just thankful I can get 3 laugh.gif

Coming for Nexus line user, I love Xiaomi and MIUI, but I won't recommend Nexus user for Xiaomi Mi4 or any other future Mi line product. Go for OnePlus One or wait for Nexus 6. blush.gif

But the 64GB of OnePlus One is bloody cheap that too hard to resists. RM1200++ can get 64GB not 32GB.. and current latest spec as well...

Hand quite itchy to jump to the one plus one recently but the phone seems to have its issues. The one that worries me most is the network where some people are getting E when should be H+ or 4g. Still thinking what phone to jump to..

I read that is China OPO got problem, International set doesn't have.
*
Yeah. But the international set need to get invites etc to get the phone. Kinda troublesome sweat.gif then again some people don't have the network issue so it's down to luck also I guess.

thanks for the comment.

she's not the type that flash ROM  blush.gif she didnt even root her phone... so... should be okay  rolleyes.gif

For normal users, Mi phones are pretty good already since it has a wide range of customisation built in without having to root/flash rooms. But for nexus users like us, cannot flash other roms = automatically out of consideration laugh.gif
