QUOTE(davkong @ Aug 7 2014, 12:27 PM) You can refer to this chart to plan the a/c required. I'm using Mitsubishi Mr. Slim with isensor 1.5HP, non-inverter, the BTU is about 12000 IIRC. http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=room..._properly_sizedThis web seem like give different style of calculation. Most site that I found is using cubic feet to determne the BTU/hr. If compare with this one, one may gt different BTU; http://www.airconditioning-systems.com/air...lculations.htmlWhich one is correct?

QUOTE(wKkaY @ Aug 31 2014, 12:57 AM) Just bought an online electricity consumption meter for my house. This chart shows my house total consumption. During this time I had two airconds running - one inverter, and one non-inverter. The non-inverter aircond's 1000W cycles are quite clear. As the night progresses, the cycles become further apart. At about 11PM this aircond is turned off. I drew in red my guesstimate of the inverter aircond's power consumption. Check out how it steps down gradually and eventually settles down on a cycle that's way smaller (in amplitude). Could you share the model of your electric consumption meter? Plan to get mine one too. Thanks
