Just got to know fr my contractor that York 2.5 vs Panasonic 2.5 requires diff size of copper. York 2.5 requires a bigger copper pipe.
He installed a Pana 2.5 pipe for me. So the max hp i can go for York is 2.0. Any1 can advise me on the above? I'm planning to get a York 2.5 instead of 2.0. Or there is not much off cooling diff between 2.0 vs 2.5? All are basic air cond model. |

QUOTE(kimsim @ Feb 26 2014, 08:04 PM) Can I know your hall how big of overall size? Yupe u r right. I dont have the measurement with me. But its a terrace double storey. I can't said 2hp is good enough, may due to your actual condition, such as direct afternoon sun lah or 2 storey height at living hall. How I know right. Not facing direct sun light. Air cond will be shared by living n dining room. |

QUOTE(kimsim @ Feb 26 2014, 09:13 PM) Should be ok for 2hp.. not as too cold, still quite comfort level Then York 2.0 shud b good enuf. I'm not a fan of air cond n rarely use it unless it's too freaking hot or need to entertain guest.when to 2.5hp more strong airflow, more easily to reach some corner only. |

QUOTE(weikee @ Jun 13 2014, 06:35 PM) Similar function in some other Ac brand too. Just disable, because it will increase temperature when detect less movement this will make the area warmer. Of you want fast cooling switch to powerful mode, will cold faster also eat higher current. Most inverter have this function too. Arent we suppose to on eco navi to utilise the inverter capability? I'm 1st time user of Pana 1.5 inverter.I also have another unit of basic Panasonic 2.5hp. I notice the blower is damm noisy when i put level 5 fan. But no noise when at level 4. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Jun 14 2014, 10:33 AM) Econavi and inverter is totally 2 different front. Actually the noise is coming fr the blower flap when fan mode is at max speed. Its like the flap is shaking. Not the heavy wind noise.Econavi is detecting movement in the room hence adjust the cooling delivery, so some electricity can be saved, when not utilised. Inverter is the ability to run motor at variable speed to save electricity. Even Econavi is off, inverter saving still able to achieve through temperature setting. Just you have econavi to add on top oo it. Fans always give noise when being run at high rpm, same with computer processor fan, chassic fan. This is inevitable. High rpm --> high noise. Want quieter one, then need to run at low rpm, so the concept is always the same for all fan mechanism, that's why those computer cooling fan, when they want it to be quieter, they build it larger so that can run at low rpm with the same amount of output of airflow. Not sure whether its normal? |

Hi guys, how frequent you service your inverter aircond?
I have been using my basic panasonic inverter 1.5hp everyday 8hrs for the past 5months. Lately i notice its no longer as cold as last time n the fan is not strong. Its still under warranty. |

QUOTE(kimsim @ Oct 5 2014, 01:43 PM) Panasonic still better choice, but Hitachi latest as sleep model maybe slightly better... which one is suit to you then go for it What shud v do to maintain the aircond beside cleaning the indoor unit filter?Durable or usage is depend how to keep clean or maintenance as often for empty dust on filter. Jst cleaned mine n its very cooling now haha. |
