Guys, planning to install and aircond in my hall but am having some problem with the placement of the unit

According to an electrician, he needs to pull the wire from the electrical box which is near my entrance, while the compressor needs to be at the balcony which is at the other end (living in an apartment btw)

My question is, wherei is the best place to locate the aircond?
And with the electrical box and compressor so far apart, will there be alot of exposed wires or pipings and how do i conceal them?
