Well...aft pages of reading..for inverter n non inverter...
Inverter=save when switch on for more period of time,6hr or more...

Non inverter=for a shorter time less than 4,5 hr...

But all must be based on the space size to get better cooling...

Just found out now the 5 stars inventor 1HP aircond so expensive !!

Btw, which brand you guys think best and most affortable...quite also...

Pana, Mitsubishi, Daikin ?

hehe...from i read...depend on how long u going to switch on the aircon...if long time more than 5hr get inverter less than that get non inverter...for brand more a less the same with xtra features from the others..and features come with price...do window shopping from one shop to another for better price...since its Our money anyway....

correct me if im wrong...and plus size of the space make it count as well since one time pay...

Also a number of shops (e.g. SHG) are actively promoting the latest Samsung :

Low wattage -  690W for 1HP/9000 BTU.  4 stars energy rating
Claims savings of 31% energy even without inverter. No inverter = less installation and maintenance issues.
Bigger airflow
Self washing - got function to use condensate water to automatically wash the blower unit  blink.gif
Nicest design, sleek, stylish.
Average price for 1HP = RM1200 all in.  blink.gif

Pay a bit more and got WiFi control.
You can switch on the aircon to cool your room down when you start driving home from work......

Dare to try?  sweat.gif

Seem gud but have anyone try out samsung...

If you have no budget an issue, please go for fully inverter unit, there's is maintenance free so far from my inverter units has been used for 4 yrs plus now, never spend any cent on maintenance..

I knew I had save a lots TNB bill for every months, also inverter Aircon not used set too low temperature to suit room condition and minimum set to 25C really feel like non-inverter from 22C at all.

My body skill won't be too dry smile.gif

non inverter really good for when is during hot n summer day, but not used in raining day or midnight at around 3-5am morning, that's really suffer for hearing compressor runs in cut off very often... compressor mounting n fan motor really kong as fast to compare from inverter unit..  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

how to do? try to used 22-23C for all day long.
*
So meaning that the temp cannot go high at 27 bcos 27 is fast reach temp so the aircond work for example 30 minit to reach 27 then off..then on back when temp exceed 27...if 25@24 aircond work more letsay 60min b4 off then on back for 60min when the temp exceed..so the constant switch on saving electric a bit since less on/off (which more consuming energy when switch on) and extend compresor motor life..source: read from oversea blog, forgot to save address jz now...so does it make sense???..

ME, in 5 yrs ago... most of Singaporean used Daikin and nowadays in every household has been turned to ME... for life's.

Even ME non inverter also good among..

York vs Daikin then go for York inverter they is nothing different.

Vs

York

If you tell me for your budget then the best choice go for York inverter R410a Gas for energy saving.. if got your budget then the best among for ME easy clean system.
