I am currently using York. In terms of looks, nothing really special. But it's really cold. If the a/c is blowing at you, setting the temp at 26C is already sufficient, so electricity consumption is not high.
No point using inverter unless your a/c is switched on most of the time as you will not see a substantial savings in your electricity bill. Cost to service and fix is also much higher. Even installation fee is higher as it requires different pipes to function at its optimum.
