Any users of Panasonic's CS-S10PKH 1.0HP Inverter Air-Cond? Whenever I on Econavi mode, the air-cond is no longer cooling the room after >3 hours of operation. Anyone face this problem?
*
... curious that is the room is empty (without people)? suppose eco-navi able to detect human presence unsure.gif or out of sensor's range, or can it be infrared (human body) being covered (like thick blanket/...)?

the usual/conventional "human detector" is just infrared detector... i'm not sure how a small sensor can detect wide angle + motion/movements or maximum distance from the sensor... is it written in the operation manual?

@kimsim

Thx for the reply , so for inverter (HP; 2, 1.5, 1) : RM 2399,RM 1658, RM 1338 without installation
i ask my cousin and he recommend me to install non-inveter for other room and just install inverter at ur master bedroom which u open aircond all night long , for living room we won't open that often unless got guess or doing party only we might switching on
For inverter , normally how much is the cost of installation ? as i know for non-inverter normally they charge RM120~180
*
Scared of the refrigerant r22 phase out, the hustle of using substitute refrigerant which requires compressor oil change to non mineral type... so may be good to have all inverters...

At least, get the inverter compliant pipe installed especially for concealed type, in case non-inverter no longer in sale.

For ME, the required copper pipe is thicker than other brand...

Non-inverter aircond will be phase out soon?  blink.gif

Normally what the price to install the inverter aircond , survey first , if not later kena chop also dunno
*
err.. to re-phrase, i'm not saying that the non-inverter air-cond is going to phase out very soon, but i think it is getting less popular in next 5years, that i afraid the support may becomes non-mainstream. The refrigerant gas is r22 which is not environmental friendly that i'm not sure when will it be totally phase out... maybe 2020 onward in US. As i plan for >10y usage, i'm paying some price (anyway the price gap is getting narrower) to eliminate future hustle...

the sharp outdoor unit is using full aluminium flat tube "cooling coil" (don't know what it is called sweat.gif ) which is claimed to be more durable and efficient, but no unit available around me to try out unsure.gif

The high end one or across the board?

i'm referring to 1hp and 1.8hp inverter model with plasma cluster, not sure on other model.
plasma cluster attracts me as it may reduce/kill the germs (not purifying)...

Heat exchange should do with aluminum coil.

If casing used aluminum much high end laugh.gif
*
You are right, the heat exchanger laugh.gif
the conventional is using copper tube with aluminium fins, while the sharp is full aluminium.
conventionally copper is a faster/more expansive heat conductance... maybe the flat tube full aluminum able to increase the surface contact area to fins to achieve higher efficiency (depends on who is talking, i think).

this guy from india wrote a brief intro to sharp unit, for someone who is interested may read through:
