guys, right now which aircond is the best for budget below rm1.4k?

currently im using Daikin 1.0hp inverter(r22 gas) bought last year at rm1380 include installation.
it works damn great, the lowest temp i ever set was 20C...usually 23-25C

now need to buy 1 more for another room (same size room as mine that use 1.0hp aircond)...dunno which aircond should i buy. help pls

Since you had own daikin then go for daikin R410A inverter has more cooling than your R22 inverter now.

From R410A set to 25C should be good enough as cold like R22 set to 22-23C.

Daily used for those Aircon can tahan and not an issue.
Low maintenance also depend how dusty of your room condition.

Just take note : daikin or York inverter fan blower design was quite similar.

I believe the casing was share with each brand.
I am not sure how to remove out on drain pan as internal part, there was look like built together with the whole internal module.

Just surprise how to remove it, if condition has some jelly stick at drain pan, should I need to remove the whole fan blower?
After that and remove out fan coil?

If someone know and experience please come in and teach me a short cut.

Thank you.

thx for the reply. smile.gif
in terms of maintenance cost, eg: the gas price, spare parts price, daikin inverter r410a is cheaper or costlier than r22?

Definitely is cooler than R22, because the mini require as 25C feel like 22C in R22 model inverter.

Refill gas or maintenance was the same as R22.
Don't tell me every year you need refill gas?

For my Aircon over 4 yrs never fill in any gas from new.

im having problem with my air cond sharp AH-X9MEV 1HP inverter.

install in my bedroom. i dont know what is my master bedroom size. but it's seems not cool enough even i set it to 16 degree.

Just having it install yesterday. cooper is about more than 10ft. But person installing my air cond said no need to add gas.

my question is . is it enough for my aircond gas inside for more than 10 ft? or is my room to big for 1HP aircond.

Your Room size slightly bigger, but should not be using as set to 16C, ins't become freeze?

Either aircond gas not enough, please check with your installer

Hi there, im looking for an aircon for my new house. Plan to place it in the living room. I don't know the size of my living room, but it is 20x70 DSL.

Planning to get air purifier function since my wife and my daughter are having sinus and breathing problem. Im looking at Sharp with Plasmacluster 1.5HP with price RM1,400++.

It is ok? Or you guys can recommend me other air con with similar function?

Please advise

Please check it proper, sharp has many user after installed and doesn't feels is cold enough.

Plasmacuster for only additional feature only, for most effective still buy additional plasmacluster with more layer of hepa filters.

I would suggest you buy normal type, such as Daikin or York cooling king.

Either go for inverter model to be enjoy more confort air.

You don't have to report to me, but your comment seem to have all the data and say "many users", so from your link is it covering 10% or maybe 20% or perhaps 50% of all sharp users? and you can conclude many? Even from the link you post other users don't have issue.

If you search, any brand have problem, even your favorite ME, and York. So can say "Many" also?
