Actually good to compare around, sharing issues around, it enhances our knowledge. Just we compare them in term of math, science and engineering aspect disregard it comes from which brand, or which type of air-cond smile.gif

Just like inverter, we know inverter save electricity bill, but whether it is more cost effective or not,
there is simple math behind to justify how much inverter could save, how much it can help one to recoup more money spent on inverter initial cost, how long it before it actually breakeven with non-inverter.

We don't blatantly say inverter is the best, while totally hammer down non-inverter as useless, waste energy etc.
Unless both are same price/cost, then yes, no reason to choose non-inverter, but it is not the case here.

Unless I am paid by the manufacturer, or represent the manufacturer that get paid for representative fee, I see no reason, why I or anyone needs to be fanboyism on which brand or which type of air-cond.

Anywhere R410a gas I guess in malaysia cost of price also bring down.

Like s'pote market has been discounted R22 gas by this year.

From new launched price per tank of gas R410a = SGD$150++ and now has reduce to half price at round $75++.

I guess in future 2015 would be launch R410a non-inverter series to be died died used an R410a already.

That's good for saving green envoplment too.

What's so great on R410a gas?

More pressure = more efficient for reached temperature set point.

Also good new for Aircond contractor can ask consumer to upgrade older existing cooper pipes.

Such as concealed in wall, just said bye bye for you and hack off for re-runs new cooper or used trunking only.

Ugly look? I'm not sure... notworthy.gif

Not sure if 3x4m then go for 1hp for bedroom and living hall 1.5hp or 2hp should be enough.

Brand can decide York Cooling King, if you wanna go for budget and come with higher BTU also

Dunno him... How he used.. Compressor noisy + fan runing.

Very clear to hear from my car porch.
At lease York more cooling BTU and won't used so much energy to force the thing works too tired.

I'm saying non inverter only

Bukan not durable parts... But parts easily worm out.
Due to older technology never improved.

Inverter at lease need 4pcs wire for 2 way = 8 total.
Also require new cooper pipes as good, don't mixed with old gas with new gas = won't get cold as good from new install period.

Unless you ask Aircon man to purging with R410a gas for cycle out the oil sticky gas and option for powerful vacuum to suction out an oil r22 gas as well then baru reused back existing cooper pipe.

Wire point can be used back old one.

Because inverter lagi used less energy than non-inverter nothing to too worried power socket

In the market so far Panasonic inverter still using indoor main power supply to outdoor unit.
Then 3-4 wires should enough to works.

Just follow what the air cond said will be good enough already.
Also, for safety reason, better lay a direct cable from DB to the air cond point.
Unless you know the original wire can support true 13A all time.

Excepted Panasonic inverter from indoor to power supply.

But make sure you pull it from indoor power point for 1 way to outdoor and the other 1 from indoor blower unit to connected outdoor unit.
